Catholics should write letters to editors to Catholic newspapers to help enlighten their fellow Catholics. That’s what I, and others, have done. But the Catholics, who have voted foolishly, have to take off their blinders first.

While it’s true that more NONpracticing Catholics vote for Dems, than practicing Catholics, there are some Catholics who attend Church regularly that vote for libDems, including voting for Obama and Clinton.

Actually, I would like all Christian organizations to Go Galt over this. Shut their schools down, shut their hospitals down, Catholic Charities, The Salvation Army, the soup kitchens, the colleges. Just shut them all down at once and let Obama deal with it.

The problem runs much deeper than that. When this church began promoting it's "social justice" agenda and then began taking tax dollars to promote it this church became a tool of the progressives. I'm sure this church's leadership always thought that they had the ability to manipulate the progressives to their will because their congregation was so obedient to them. However, now we see that having taught their membership that govt is a means of achieving "social justice" that same membership now looks to govt first and this church does not have the influence over their congregation they thought they did.

I don't see this changing in the short term. Serious Christians are a minority in this country and now that the progressives dominate the education environment, media and govt bureaucracy you see them aggressively pushing the destruction of Judeo Christian values. Society is being changed in that the source, or basis, for our laws and morality does not rest on God's revelation to us but rather on the emotions of the mob.

I was asked to be on a pro-life committee in my parish, but I think the diocese combined right-to-life with “social justice,” so I told them I was only interested in right-to-life, & was told, in our parish, it will only be that, & now I am chairwoman of the group.

Birthright pregnancy crisis places are so wise. They will NOT accept $$ from govt., because they don’t want govt. dictating to them what to do, & they get their $$ through donations only. Our Church collects diapers, etc. for them.

Much can be said about the Caliph and his corrupt, lawless, unconstitutional regime, but let us remember Father Jenkins, the president of Notre Dame University.

Father Jenkins shrugged at the outcry of many Catholics, (including myself), and welcomed the Caliph to Notre Dame in 2009. The Caliph spoke there at the commencement and Notre Dame gave him an honorary J.D. (doctor of LAW) degree.

Notre Dame has or had a lawsuit against Obama's assault on religious freedom.

And yet Father Jenkins still has his job.
