American POWS sent secret coded messages to Washington with news of a Soviet atrocity: In 1943 they saw rows of corpses in an advanced state of decay in the Katyn forest, on the western edge of Russia, proof that the killers could not have been the Nazis who had only recently occupied the area.
The testimony about the infamous massacre of Polish officers might have lessened the tragic fate that befell Poland under the Soviets, some scholars believe. Instead, it mysteriously vanished into the heart of American power. The long-held suspicion is that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt didn't want to anger Josef Stalin

FDR did not do anything different from what Stalin himself would have done if he were President.
The there worst socialist presidents, Wilson, FDR, and Obastard.
Poland got screwed so many ways.
Doesn’t surprise me. Totalitarian regimes want their people dumb-easier to control them. Think Pol Pot and the U.S. education system.
I don't see any difference.
FDR's shenanigans with Chiang Kai-shek ALONE were a lesson in double dealing and criminal malfeasance! I'd be hard put to say which of these two criminals was a greater liar and con!
forget about the Polish soldiers- the Soviets admittedly held 22,000 American POW’s at the end of WWII and only returned upon protest:
Stalin killing millions of his own people is not new news.
FDR was as communist as Stalin.
Pray for America to Wake Up
Stalin killing millions of his own people is not news.
Nor will it be news when obama kills millions of Americans.
Who would report it?
FDR was a Progressive tyrant, to be sure. But even he did not take his shoes off in a Shinto temple 4 days after Pearl Harbor to tell us the Japanese people were peaceful and only their radical leaders were the enemy. Dubya did this 4 days after 9/11, declaring Islam the ‘religion of peace” in a filty, Muslim Brotherhood-linked mosque, while smoke was still rising over the WTC. I will forever hate him for that. He tied one hand behind our collective backs that day.
Patton wanted all American POWs held by the Soviets returned to the US. Wonder how many US POWs were murdered by the Soviets?
The Mysterious Death of Gen. George S. Patton (Was it really an “accident”?)
“Stalin killing millions of his own people is not new news.”
Apparently it was to the New York Times.
A lot of the "show trials" in the Eastern bloc countries happened because of pressure from Stalin. A disproportionate number of those tried and found guilty were Jewish.
An excellent book on this is “Target Patton”. A real eye opener.
An amazing review of the FDR sham can be found in “The Roosevelt Myth” by John T. Flynn. Obastard is repeating most of the path FDR took to bastardize the Constitution and accumulate ultimate power to himself. He built a mythology around himself, his family, his party that has been reinstituted by der Fuehrer. He had no problems licking Old Joe’s shoes whenever he was ordered to do so.
FDR was as communist as Stalin.
That's an interesting statement, bray.
I doubt Franklin Roosevelt was ever a full communist, which would have been far too risky a move for a presidential candidate to make; conversely, I'm sure he hired communists and placed them in positions of great authority. Was he a communist dupe, a communist sympathizer, or a so-called "progressive" who figured he'd use communists for his own purposes? I can't say, but have a hunch history will.
The more interesting question is this: was Stalin a communist?
That leads to a still more interesting question: was Lenin a communist?
I believe both were thoroughly evil creatures who used communism as their paths to power. I believe the highest goal for bothand Mao, and Castro, et aliawas mass murder. If some other ideology had been available and looked likely to help them achieve the ultimate power, they'd have chosen that rather than communism. Ultimately, it's always about mass murder.
Typical liberal: Never met a tyrant they didn’t love.
