It Begins… 2010 Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Pushes Chinese-Style Population Control

Michael E. Arth ran for governor in Florida in 2010 as a Democrat.

This week Arth pushed Chinese-style population control. He also Americans should purchase “birth credits” to have kids. Vice.com reported:

So if people live longer and longer, how do you deal with overpopulation? That’s why we have to get started now. Waiting just compounds the problem. World population increases by 220,000 every day, after accounting for the 155,000 who die. It’s truly a hydra-headed problem, because for every person that is cut down by death, more than two are born. This is like adding the combined populations of England, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand to the world every year. Politicians don’t address overpopulation because they focus on issues that will get them re-elected in the short term, while the business interests that influence them want to see more and more consumers.

They don’t address it unless they’re China. China would have two billion people today if not for their population policies. Nevertheless, China still added 350 million more Chinese since they implemented strict family planning measures in 1978, because of what’s called population momentum. Because of the burst in population growth under Chairman Mao, the average age of the population had dropped. Until these excess young people had their own children, the population increased faster than if you had an evenly distributed demographic. So even limiting families to one child per couple was not low enough to stop population growth.

Now, thanks to the one-child policy – to which there are many exceptions, by the way – China’s ageing population will probably not grow much more from now on, as long as they don’t remove the restrictions....

What about the H1N1 panic and vaccine?

those that believe that there are too many people should do the honorable thing and “off” themselves.

I'd tell them to do the opposite, to pro-create themselves. Except with slightly different words.

Has there been any evidence of the effects of the vaccine?
I know H1N1 was overblown - a real non-issue. But I think that was just media sensationalism.

Not at all. They just don’t get welfare or food stamps. . .

No, nothing concrete that I know of, but plenty of conspiracy theories. As an anecdote, my wife and I got pregnant with our first within 2 weeks of going off birth control. Now almost 5 years later we are still working on #2. She went against my wishes and got the stupid vaccine. Now, we haven’t spent the money on fertility research and I can’t necessarily blame the vaccine, but it is always in the back of my mind.

Or will we see “executions” of those trying to enact or enforce such a law? Not proposing, just wondering..... It would be rather difficult for someone to try and claim the moral high ground when up to their knees in dead babies.

Democrats do it all the time... in a political sense, at least.

But they do that all the time. Christians are evil, hypocritical and judgmental. Pro-abortion folks are much more moral -- they'll let practically anyone kill a child.

Illegals can have, and rape their way into, scores of children, but American citizens must apply to the State for permission for their first.

Not entirely true.

Only white "Bitter Clingers" would require prior authorization to reproduce.

Their requests will be processed by overpaid, incompetent, liberal IRS employees not otherwise engaged in ignoring 501-c requests from conservative organizations.

He's right. We need to limit the birth rate of existing Americans to prevent competition to the Amnestied Illegals. Americans just can't cut it and need to be replaced with morally superior, stronger work ethic illegal aliens who will add so much prosperity to our economy. /sarc

Michael E. Arth should pick Chealsea Clinton as his running mate.

They both have simplistic solutions to the complex problem of “these excess young people” withjout consideration for unexpected consequences.

Chelsea has not yet advocated outright government population control.

But she did state her regrets that her great-grandmother, as an unwed pregnant teenager, didn’t have access to an abortion clinic so that she could have aborted Chelsea’s grandmother.

I don’t think much of Art’s proposals, but Chelsea’s ideas might have proven to be beneficial to the USA.

It’s scary that people like this are competitive candidates. The day my government starts to tell me how many kids they’ll permit is the day II start shooting.

I had the opportunity to travel to China a couple of times. While in a park in Beijing I watched a grandmother play with her granddaughter and began to think of the familial solitude this child will experience: no siblings, no aunts or uncles, therefore no cousins. I would think it would be much harder to instill family values when playmates would necessarily be from outside the family and probably within a government controlled setting. There will be no extended family at all except parents and grandparents. How will this one child take care of two aging parents and four aging grandparents? It can’t be done. The elderly will have to be institutionalized if the child has any expectation of employment. The social ramifications are scary!

I think it is a sound inference from the known facts, that the LGBT agenda is being pushed by US and international population-controllers. Everything they're willing to promote globally, is anti natural sexual procreation.

See for yourself. What do all these things have in common?

“birth credits” eh? Looking at him i dont think he will probably ever have a need for that.

Look closely at the picture....the woman is shaking hands with Arth's wife....a.k.a....his right hand.

" Flip it: if you’re dependent on Government Payments, you are REQUIRED to have a birth-control implant. Disagree with birth control ? Fine. Either get sterilized or no payments."

I get it: basically, reproductive maiming as the price of survival. No appeal to reason, 100% coercion. Very much what what the Communist dictator, Nicolae Ceaucescu did in Romania, though his game was state-compulsory --- not state-prohibited --- childbearing. Same deal, though: get the maximum number of people dependent on govt, and then --- because they're dependent --- their bodies belong to the State and will be used for the Collective. What a detestable suggestion.

But the U.S. govt. won't do it that way --- because our Reptilian Masters have figured out a better way. It will all be done by "choice". They have already de-constructed marriage, de-normed heterosexuality, and pathologized fertility. (Ever notice that conception, pregnancy and childbirth are all monitored by the Centers for Disease Control?)

The next step will be to demonize childbearing. They will make motherhood repugnant in the minds of all. Pregnant women will be shamed the way Paul Deen is being shamed, as being a public dork, a health hazard, a laughingstock, rejected as pathetic, Palin-slimed ("Is your vagina a clown-car?")

Our Masters won't make hormonal implants mandatory. They'll make them fashionable. They'll make them a right! The opinionistas will declare that life is intolerable without an implant. And then --- rights for all!

It's already 75% fait accompli.

And not a gun being fired.

Hardly. You’re demanding the taxpayer subsidize your survival. Fine. To get, you need to give. At minimum, a guarantee that you won’t FURTHER weigh down the taxpayers with additional dependents. . . .

Have **all** the children you want. But support them by the sweat of YOUR brow, not that of the rest of us. . .
