The Taliban shot dead ten mountain climbers at a base camp at Nanga Parbat this morning. The Islamists tied up the guides before shooting the climbers in their tents. The Washington Post reported:
Gunmen stormed a camp on Pakistan’s second-largest mountain Sunday, killing nine foreign climbers, including a U.S. citizen, in a brazen assault that could deal a blow to the country’s efforts to jumpstart its tourism industry.
Pakistan’s Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, calling it retribution for a suspected U.S. drone strike last month that killed Wali ur-Rehman, the second-highest-ranking leader of the terrorist group.

Low information mountain climbers go to Pakistan (of all places) and wind up paying the price for being so uninformed. I’m really sorry to hear of their fate, but damn....

I’d LOVE to visit Pakistan, especially North&South Waziristan, Piloting a B-2 bomber at 48,000’, carrying a load of Nuclear Bombs.
North&South Waziristan should be THE International, Nuclear, above and below ground, test range ............................. FRegards
