This guy is not doing himself ANY Public Relations favors. He’s looking more and more like an out-and-out traitor.

The closest adviser to Julian Assange, who orchestrated the release of the Wikileaks diplomatic cables three years ago, is named ‘Sarah Harrison’, prompting speculation that she was the Harrison on the flight with Mr. Snowden.

The NSA wasn’t spying on our enemies, they were spying on THEIR enemies.

I am having a hard time being convinced that Snowden is evil. He may be stupid or misguided or wrong...but even the words of John Bolton and Dick Cheney, two men I respect, are not able to convince me (as of yet) that this guy has done something out of line.

We currently have in office a regime that is not dedicated to equal protection of the citizenry. We have a regime that dislikes classical Christianity, our Constitution and the basics of free market capitalism. This regime has APPARENTLY been creating databases on NOT JUST those who fit the profile of a middle eastern terrorist, but on ALL Americans...reminds me of, say, Robert F Kennedy bugging Martin Luther King Jr., a black Republican who RFK wanted to keep tabs on....

Anyway. I don’t object to the existence of NSA surveillance programs. I DO object to those powers being in the hands of unethical thugs. Abuse always follows...and that is what I believe Snowden, knowingly or not, has exposed.

Anyone else have thoughts on this? I deeply respect Cheney and Bolton, so perhaps I am seeing this in the wrong light. I just can’t bring myself to feeling sorry for Obama’s bad behavior being brought into the open.

But...but...Russia should do what Obama wants. After all, didn’t Barry hit the reset button on our relationship with them??

He’s travelling to the only countries that won’t arrest and extradite him back to the US ... doesn’t have much choice in the matter.

I agree with you. The Obama / NSA / Bolton argument seems to be simply, “if we don’t ignore the Fourth Amendment, then we won’t get this information.”

Yes, however Moscow was the worst of all possible choices.
