‘Kill Whitey’ Panther is held on gun rap
New York Post ^ | June 22, 2013 | Laurie Italiano & Jamie Schram

The tattoo on his face says, “Kill Whitey” in block letters, and cops say the gun he carried was loaded and unlicensed.

But that didn’t stop Maruse Heath — head of the Philadelphia chapter of the New Black Panther Party — from claiming that he’s really all about charity and outreach as he was arraigned on a gun-possession charge in Manhattan last night.

“It is my understanding that the New Black Panther Party is the functional equivalent of the KKK,” Assistant District Attorney Christopher Ryan countered as Heath, 41, was ordered held in lieu of $75,000 bail for getting busted allegedly with a gun in Harlem Thursday night.

Heath, aka “King Salim Shabazz,” was arrested on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard as he left a meeting of New Black Panther Party members. The group had gathered to plan a 15th-anniversary Million Man March commemoration, scheduled for Harlem on Sept. 7.

Heath was unjustly “jumped” by cops as he left the meeting and walked near Seventh Avenue, said his lawyer, Brad Foster, in arguing unsuccessfully for low bail.

Wouldn't be a surprise if Holder tries to intervene for one of "his" people again.

I think “King Salim Shabazz” is on his own this time...No brother helping a brother out meme...

How would it look if this thug was freed on a gun charge, in NYC no less, since Obama wants to be the number one gun grabber in the nation

Holder has a lot on his plate already and is barely keeping his head above the fray, doesn't need another "issue" to weigh him down...

The misunderstood community organizer, charity working thug is on his own...

A good punishment for him would be forced plastic surgery.

He would be made into a overweight white guy and look just like George on Seinfeld.

Good advice from the both of you.

If that twerp shot someone of any real size he might have it shoved up the part of his body that the sun don’t shine.

Probably the only thing more painful than that would be the extraction of it by a doctor, especially should it fire again during that extraction.

You can count on it. Carrying a loaded illegal gun in NYC requires a mandatory jail sentence. ( I think it is 3 years)

I recently read a local paper that serves Liberty Hill Texas, in which an article describes the total amount of scholarship money given to the Valedictorian and Salutatorian. The Salutatorian got 4 times the amount of the Valedictorian this year. How’s that?

You guessed right, the top student does not belong to the approved racial/ethnic/gender/LBGT group.

There’s also the little problem of what happened to Plaxico Burris, who was pretty clearly carrying for purely defensive purposes and dropped his Glock .40 at a NYC night club, tried to grab as it fell, and got it by the trigger, causing it to discharge and shooting himself in the leg. Poor Plaxico didn’t even have any racist tats and still got about 2 years in a NY prison. If the current real creep gets off, the political, not racial (Burris is also black) , favoritism will be blatant.

We are probably the first Oppressed Majority in history.

Wow Laz, you can't think of any majority people who were oppressed by a minority? Cmon, you can do it, I've got 2 without even thinking about it.

You've disappointed me Laz.

Mark

Never saw that photo. What a fraud she is. Compare and contrast her to Nancy Reagan or Barbara Bush or Laura Bush. Class all the way. THEY understood we didn’t elect them, but did their thing on the side. What is Mooscheles’ efforts, other than preach to us about what we should eat?

"Being a white man in today's America is the functional equivalent of being a black man 50 to 75 years ago. We are probably the first Oppressed Majority in history."

Correct about the status of white men. We are the accepted enemy of the MSM, Hollywood, and the so-called higher learning institutions. However, don't think this is the first time a majority has been oppressed.

Bottom line: Everyone who is not white male has a bitch about something and are racists, sexists, ageists, et al in many of their complaints. I now say screw them all. This nation tried to give them the same opportunities, but the inner-city types just want stuff.

They have had the same chances as I've had, and even more sometimes through affirmative action. I say, get off your ASS and go to work. Stop with your habitual whining and thinking the Gov (us productive tax-payers) owes you. I hate all of you leaches.

Oops, a sentence with the word hate in it. Guess Holder's people will be knocking on my door soon, much like England now charges people with "hate crimes" who say hate in their dealings with Muslims.

I will continue to say the word hate, as in:
The list would go too long so I'll stop here. Correction, I hate folk music and "The Housewives of Who Gives a Shit?" Oh, and I hate Islamists, the Taliban, and any dumb as Hollywood type that coddles to Castro and Hugo. I hate them all. I also hate spinach.

I especially hate the increasing Fedgov intrusion in our lives. Got that Holder? BTW, dipshit, hate is an emotion like love, empathy, joy, etc. Gonna arrest me for an emotion? Double dog dare you to try.

Let's bring this to a boiling point and watch great attorneys shut your pathetic ass down. Oh, and I hate you Mr. Attorney General. I still get to say who I hate and you won't do a damn thing about it. Don't bother to sick the IRS on me, I've paid all my taxes all my life. You suck and I hate you.

So a NFL player with a multimillion dollar paycheck could afford a Glock and not be able to acquire a quality holster that would make “dropping it” almost impossible and we should be sorry for him? To quote Forrest Gump “Stupid is as stupid does”. He got what he deserved and and it was very light treatment at that.

He’s a damn fool who should have bee prosecuted for reckless endangerment, not under an unconstitutional monstrosity of a statute that criminalizes the mere exercise of second amendment rights. The constitution also protects stupid people.

Know what you're talking about before you give an uninformed reply. Philly is in Pennsylvania and we have better gun laws than Texas.

Pa. is a shall issue state.

A gun permit costs $19.95 and includes your picture being taken. No stupid training rules. If your smart enough to put $19.95 together, you're smart enough to get a concealed carry permit.

Strong state preemption laws. Localities can't make up their own gun laws.

Open carry is a right.

No magazine bans, no "assault weapon" regs. Class 3 weapons can be owned.
