TDEC: Water quality complaints could be an 'act of terrorism'

Most people do not believe that complaining about water quality is an act of terrorism, but Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation's (TDEC) Deputy Director Sherwin Smith isn't most people. Smith told a group of Maury County residents, on May 29, that baseless complaints about water quality could be considered an "act of terrorism," The Tennessean reported on Thursday.

In an audio recording, Smith told the crowd: "We take water quality very seriously. Very, very seriously. But you need to make sure that when you make water quality complaints you have a basis, because federally, if there's no water quality issues, that can be considered under Homeland Security an act of terrorism."

The Tennessean reporter Brian Haas wrote, "Residents there have complained to the state for months, saying some children had become ill drinking the water.".....(snip)...

"you need to make sure that when you make water quality complaints you have a basis, because federally, if there's no water quality issues, that can be considered under Homeland Security an act of terrorism."

Terrorists: those who cling to God and to guns, those who attend church on Sundays (but not those who attend a Mosque of Fridays), prior military, those who prepare for emergencies, conservatives, those who oppose Obama on anything, and now those who are concerned about municipal water quality. If I didn't know better, I'd wonder whether our Dear Leader was trying to dilute the meaning of the word "terrorism", but that can't be true. Obama doesn't even use that word for workplace violence, such as the mass murder of American soldiers at Fort Hood.

so in other words sit down and shut up? That SOB. Parents have better things to do than make untrue assertions to dim witted water directors. I thought he was going to say terrorists could attack the water supply by poisoning it which under the Geneva-Hague Conventions (now rendered almost irrelevant by the monsters we are dealing with who belong to no government army)is considered a war crime.

I hope he gets boils. I hope his complaints earn him the name of “griper” who won’t sit down and shut up, see how he likes it.

So another words, if your pipes are old and the water seems strange, but there isn’t really a problem, you’ll be hog tied and dragged away as a terrorist, and the Fort Hood shooter was only a perp of work place violence.

Okay, I’m beginning to understand...

This idiot doesn’t want his paying customers making his job more difficult.

“If you complain that I’m not cleaning up your water, I’m going to report you for terrorism!”

Under Obama every dissenting voice to the government will become an act of terrorism.

As socialists have changed their lexicon and are now so-called progressives, the old communist term of counterrevolutionary has been changed to terrorist.

This is Obamas transformed America.

So if 3 foreign biochemistry students are caught out
on a freezing cold night mysteriously near quabbin reservoir,
they are IMMEDIATELY let go, BUT if a citizen
complains of water quality he/she will be incarcerated,
if not exterminated and audited.

America is soooooooooooo screwed.

In today's America, everyone is guilty of breaking some law. There is no "if you don't do anything wrong you have nothing to fear". You have done something wrong; you just didn't know it.

Narsisists believe that diagreeing with them is an act of agression toward them. It is quite simply THAT simple. We have allowed very, very sick people to control our lives, by way of the US government.

Demonrats commit acts of terrorism with every breath of air they steal, especially when they support the genocidal murder-by-abortion enabler, Traitorobama.

“You have done something wrong; you just didn’t know it.”

If you are alive and didn’t vote for Hussein, you are guilty of being alive and not voting for Hussein - that is a death sentence.

The Plan:

DOJ + NSA + IRS = KGB

Now shut up and be a good comrade, or we might discover that you are a terrorist!

Do I get at least a half dozen virgins if I am shot for complaining about too much iron and lime in my water?

Wouldn’t it be easier for DHS to just accuse every US citizen of being a terrorist, then retract the accusation for the VERY FEW they don’t consider terrorists?

Oh... too late. That’s their mindset right now.

Translation: Don’t bother me and try to get me to do my job, I’m out golfing / cheating on my wife / or other leisurely avtivity paid for by your tax dollars. If you keep bugging me I’m going to call the EPA and tell them that you are poisoning our water and call you a terrorist so they can ruin your life. Now run along, sonny...

Something bad happened to Tennessee and the state is still suffering.

I think the state was infected when it got Gored by a failed political dynasty and never fully healed.

That lingering infection festers to this day and may yet kill Tennessee, just as it has many, many others.

The guy is a jerk! However,,,,,,,, We do get some off-the-wall complaints.

Years ago, we started doing tests for lead and copper. House directly across the street from the jerk, way below actionable limits. The jerk’s house, the same. Three years or so later, house across the street, way below actionable limits. The jerk’s? Over the moon! He complained to the EPA and the PUCO.
I went to investigate. He had remodeled the house. Did the plumbing himself, starting right at the meter. I asked to see the solder he used. Ancient roll, probably inherited from his grandfather. Not lead free! I explained to him that he had caused the problem, and there was nothing I could do about it.
He complained again to the EPA and PUCO. They came out to his house to meet. I was there. The guy brought out a new roll of lead-free solder!
The EPA and PUCO believed me, as all twenty other test sites were well within compliance. The guy is a jerk, just like the water guy in Tennessee!

In my opinion, this country is getting very close to the point where people like the jack**s in the article are going to start acting on their rhetoric.
In fact, it is already happening to some extent with the IRS, NSA, and soon under Obamacare.
That awkward time, as noted by Clair Wolfe, I fear is coming to an end. Our government is not listening, and most likely has their propaganda machine queued up to exploit the first person who reacts--not some whacko like Jerod Loughner or James Holmes, but an average person who has "had enough".
And a word of advice to whatever government stooge is reading this: At that point, the critical mass of people who quietly sympathize with said average person won't care how much information you have in your Utah vault, or how much your media lapdogs villainize. That critical mass, I suspect, is going to want to eliminate the source of their oppression and whomever supports it.

I am not looking forward to it. Because it is going to be bloody, and a lot of innocent people are going to get hurt.
