Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr has signed an order opening a joint investigation by the Inspector General and Auditor General into possible waste, abuse, fraud and corruption associated with Detroit's two employee benefit programs.

Ruh Roh Rorge! Monica Conyers used to be on the pension board, I think she just got out of prison for taking bribes. Can she be tried for more crimes, or is this double jeopardy?

I’ve said all along that this would be the direction an emergency manager would need to take. Slowly increase the pressure and when the rats break cover, start stomping them.
I think we’re about 2 months away from seeing the first criminal charges.
