The horse is probably laying on several, but I still haven’t cleaned my lenses.
That’s a lot of fish.

Would be interesting to find out if the fish are fresh or salt water fish.

Must have been a thinner fish! Probably one of those anorexic female fish.

...Working in mysterious ways, probably. Or perhaps there simply wasn't enough waters to spread globally, so particular sites were chosen randomly?
It could happen.

Oh, you mean a fraud.FWIW. I appreciate learning from sources with varied backgrounds. I hold in high regard those who base arguments on evidence and logic. On the other hand when someone resorts to appeal to authority. I generally discount those who use that as lazy thinkers.

I really feel sorry for people of faith like you who have allowed the atheism of some evolutionary biologists to bamboozle you into thinking scientific facts and Biblical scripture are incompatible.
Evolution is a fact. I accept the Bible as the word of God. I have no problem reconciling them.

Needed a cheeseburger, but the item was not yet evolved, (or created?) All they had was horsemeat, and a dead one at that, yuk!

The horse in question is Protorohippus venticolus, first identified as a Hyracotherium by Edwin Cope (a very important and especially interesting American paleontologist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries - "The Guilded Dinosaur" by Mark Jaffe is a very interesting story about the academic war between him and arch-competitor Othniel Marsh). May people would know this animal as Eohippus, the Dawn Horse, a dog-sized proto-horse with 4 toes on the forefeet and 3 on the hind.

Fossilization is a process that takes place only under certain conditions. Time is of no importance.
