New York Dems want to pass a bill that would limit a description of a suspect to identify suspects essentially by the clothes they wear only. Truly mind-numbing stupidity.
NYPost reports the following:
Cops might as well wear blindfolds if the City Council passes a bill that would let them use little more than the color of a suspect’s clothing in descriptions — or risk being sued for profiling, according to this provocative new ad (pictured) from the NYPD captains union.
The ad asks, “How effective is a police officer with a blindfold on?”
And the answer is not very, says the NYPD Captains Endowment Association, which is fighting the measure, claiming it would handcuff cops and send crime rates soaring.
Union President Roy Richter — who is seen in the ad wearing a blindfold in Times Square — told The Post the bill is dangerous because “it will ban cops from identifying a suspect’s age, gender, color or disability.
“When we have wanted suspects and patterns of crimes, those are very important descriptive terms to let officers know who to look for.”
The ad warns that if cops transmit a description of a suspect that goes beyond the color of his or her clothing, they could be sued for racial profiling if the proposal becomes law.
The ad will appear in tomorrow’s Post, in addition to the union’s Web site, Twitter and Facebook — and provides links to contacts for City Council members to sway their vote on the measure.

There are other underlying reasons to outlaw toy/air guns.
Since it is unsafe and illegal for little boys to have real guns, toys and non-lethal guns are training devices,
and the elite do NOT want the average person conversant in the use of arms.
Every crook will now carry a change of clothes.
When all the details are ironed out, a description of clothing will be forbidden too, as certain protected groups prefer certain clothes. Soon cops will only be able to tell citizens to be on the lookout for someone.
Ironic since our Peace Prize POTUS uses drones to kill suspected terrorists , their friends and family (only those who are outside the USA in certain countries.)
back when I was a boy 1960s my favorite cartoon was Jonny Quest (the original hand drawn ones) and it was prime time too, That was just a fantasic action/sci-fi/horro good bad guy show where the bad guys got killed. Hell, I still watch it on Boomerang from time to time and like it, I used to tell everyoneit was my favorite of all time.
But the PC nammy mommies raised a stink and got all Hanna-Barbara action shows removed from the three networks by ~ 1970 ~ 1971.
Then we moved to the Scuby-doo era, those scooby doo bad guys were real p,...ies and note that they always got arrested without getting a scratch
They’ll hide any evidence that they think is crazy but in my experience liberals do not think their views are crazy, e.g., rewarding unmarried pregnant women with $$ and then wondering why there is a huge increase; paying people unemployment and wondering why many don’t look for a job; giving welfare and medical care to illegals. They simply do not understand cause and effect.

I have all the original episodes on DVD, and ALWAYS show it to my nephews when they come over. They LOVE it.
RE Toy Guns:
My kids have been shooting REAL guns - .22s - since they were 5 and 7, respectively. I had toy guns - they were VERY realistic back when I was a kid. I knew EVERY WWII gun when I was a kid, and was shooting an M1 Garand at 11 years old.
The other side can try to condition kids all they want. It’s doomed to failure.
PS3 Modern Warfare, Call of Duty, Black Ops, Medal of Honor, etc., is undoing ALL of their PC bullsh*t on a daily basis.
Kids today know more about more kinds of guns than we EVER did. And they’re waiting for the opportunity to learn how to shoot.

I recall being about 7 yrso and color TV was just catching on, we only had black and white then though, and every Friday(I think) night primetime everything had to stop while I glued myself to that half hour episode.
Just the opening theme ws enough to take me out of that living room (mentally) to the JQ action fantasy world, which lasted the rest of the evening.
Not long ago I DVRed the series on Boomerang and watched them all again ~ one a day.

A reasonable assumption but it is based on a suspect premise, namely that our species will survive the current insanity.

Incidentally....the Guitarist’s Big Moment comes right after Hadji is introduced, and just before Bandit.

I remember early 1970 complaining about all my favorite cartoon shows disappearing and my lib Mom tells me that my favorite shows were bad for me.
Here's what I learned from Scooby and Shaggy ~ early 1970s:
1) Good global citizens wait for the police, or run away when being attacked or threatened because defending yourself is no better than being the attacker.
2) Good global citizens trust that the judge will rule fair justice even if he lets the scumbag go because he was not read his rights in time, and then the scumbag comes after you with a gun for reporting him.....and then back to #1

Do you remember the original Spider Man cartoon that was on on Saturday mornings (I think it was on NBC affiliated stations)? That was another action oriented cartoon that disappeared around the Scooby doo time frame as well.
Quest was, though, tops. Doug Wildey, who created Jonny Quest, passed away in 1994. He had a lot of other cartoon character/action series ideas that didn’t make it to the screen, unfortunately.
