The middle class is the enemy of Centralized Govt and the oligarchy. They are trying to make us bow and kneel.
Perhaps either of you can explain how much higher our taxes need to be in order to alleviate this problem.
Either raise taxes thru tariffs, like our smart forefathers, or raise taxes thru income taxes like progressives. We know what you like.

I’m at a loss to explain why conservative FReepers are skeptical that our government can’t do the right thing. I mean, we know that it only acts in our best interest and never, ever, engages in policies that suffer from unintended consequences. I’m so concerned that I’m writing another check to the Treasury now. They will spend it wisely.
What is happening is that America is exporting jobs.
Every day, we ship more, and more jobs overseas.
We need to bring back American jobs. Now.
