Expert warns terrorists may be setting wildfires across American West
Washington Examiner ^ | June 16, 2013 | MARK TAPSCOTT

Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld of the New York-based American Center for Democracy's Economic Warfare Institute warns that last July "al-Qaeda's English-language online magazine, Inspire, published an article called 'It Is of Your Freedom to Ignite a Firebomb,' which featured instructions on how to build an incendiary bomb to light forests on fire.

"A few months later, Russia's security (FSB) chief, Aleksandr Bortnikov warned, 'al-Qaeda was complicit in recent forest fires in Europe' as part of the terrorists' 'strategy of a thousand cuts.' Bortnikov spoke of 'extremist sites [that] contained detailed instructions of waging the forest jihad and stressed that such a method had proved itself effective as it inflicted both physical and moral damage, needed little training or investment and it was extremely hard for police to find and apprehend the arsonists.'

The “vandals” also cut the fiber optic line.

And our ever-vigilant government is planning to import a bunch of Syrian militants. Wow! Are we ever lucky to be governed by these people.

Look a rag head riding a camel starting a fire with a flame thrower would be covered up.

What makes you think they wait until evening? Haven’t you heard of “wake and bake”?

Yes, of course. The "Smokey Bear" public service announcements have been running for many decades (created in the 1940s), and are running to this day.

From Smokey Bear Guidelines:

Statistics showed that nine out of ten of the fires were person-caused and, thus, preventable. With this in mind, in 1942 the Forest Service organized the Cooperative Forest Fire Prevention Program with the help of the Wartime Advertising Council. The Wartime Advertising Council was composed of people experienced in the business of advertising who donated their talent to the U.S. Government to get important messages to the people.

Posters and slogans were created through the Wartime Advertising Council, including "Forest Fires Aid the Enemy," and "Our Carelessness, Their Secret Weapon." By using catchy phrases, colorful posters and other fire prevention messages, the CFFP Program encouraged people to prevent accidental fires and help with the War.

... PS: Granted, the Smokey Bear emphasis was on carelessness, not malice, however the point remains that, especially today, we have every reason to believe there are enemy agents behind some or even many of the wildfires.

Sad to say, but some of those terrorists wear the uniform of the USFS.

Harvey is the federal official who also oversaw the battle against the Waldo Canyon Fire. He said it was just coincidence that Colorado Springs saw two such destructive blazes in 12 months.

“This could happen anywhere,” he said.

This quote is from an article about the Black Forest Fire, here:

Black Forest Fire = in El Paso County (location of Colorado Springs) = one of the most conservatine areas in the state

This is what we discussed in a family gathering last week!

I was saying that the second explosion in the Geismar, LA plant is quite unusual and almost impossible to be an accident. Then I mentioned the “wild”fires ain’t that wild.

Terrorist learned how to survive longer, don’t thump your chest and take real or fake responsibility and just keep doing it!

Have you noticed that local governments and Feds are not even speculating or mentioning anything about the cause of any fire anymore? Eventually, they used to attribute the cause as “confirmed or most likely” one of the three below and that it was under investigation.

- lightening
- accident (campfire, cigarettes, etc.)
- arson

They would be looking for accidental or arson perpetrators and asking for help to locate a described car, person or persons, etc.

Their silence is deafening and damning politically to the communist/Islamist rulers. This could be the mother of all covered-up scandals because of the physical damage of burning homes and killing citizens.

Who knows, we may get a whistleblower on murdering “undesired” people if they live in the “right” wild environment!

Some random excerpts from http://publicintelligence.net/dhs-terrorist-interest-in-using-fire-as-a-weapon/

— (U//FOUO) The most recent edition of al-Qa‘ida in the Arabian Peninsula’s (AQAP’s) English-language Inspire magazine provides instructions for and advocates setting fires in the United States to destroy forests and buildings and cause mass casualties, economic damage, and fear...

U//FOUO) For at least a decade, international terrorist groups and associated individuals have expressed interest in using fire as a tactic against the Homeland to cause economic loss, fear, resource depletion, and humanitarian hardship. There is no evidence that international terrorist groups and inspired individuals are responsible for any purposeful destruction of public or private property by setting wildfires in the United States...

(U//FOUO) The ninth issue of Inspire—AQAP’s English-language magazine published on 2 May 2012 as the winter 2012 edition—advocates setting wildfires in the United States to create economic hardship and cause the loss of life of firefighters, the destruction of property and buildings, and general psychological distress. The first issue of Inspire, which AQAP released in summer 2010, also briefly made reference to setting fires as a tactic. We have no indications AQAP or unaffiliated violent extremists are planning to act upon the suggestions contained in Inspire...

I believe it is the Occupy Wall Street (OWS). They travel with the Renaissance Festivals, and the fires start when they come to town and stop when they leave.

“The only tool available to control the damage a fire can do is to manage the fuel.”

With so much forest we should let it burn, there is no way to mitigate that much woodland. People can clear their properties but that does little when a fire 1/4 mile or 1/2 away is throwing embers onto windows and roofs. It is the windows and roofs where the fire gets in, especially windows.

I’ve wondered about every major fire since 9/11/2001. It just seemed like easy, low-hanging fruit - easy to do, hard to stop. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t the case.

your post - “I believe the terrorists that do exist are total morons because there are so many thousands of things that they could be doing to create disruption in this somewhat free society...but they don’t.”

I’ve heard the terrorists are just very PATIENT and
of course EVIL...
and their desire to kill us is #1 priority.
I believe they will be striking more often and soon -
I feel the Storm coming.

Remember the ‘ring of fire’ in Greece? Everyone knew what that was. So we had the same thing here and NOBODY knew what that was? BS.
