Syria rebels 'beheaded a Christian and fed him to the dogs'
Daily Mail ^ | 19:41 EST, 30 December 2012 | Nick Fagge

Posted on 06/16/2013 6:47:43 PM PDT by Zhang Fei

Syrian rebels beheaded a Christian man and fed his body to dogs, according to a nun who says the West is ignoring atrocities committed by Islamic extremists.

The nun said taxi driver Andrei Arbashe, 38, was kidnapped after his brother was heard complaining that fighters against the ruling regime behaved like bandits.

She said his headless corpse was found by the side of the road, surrounded by hungry dogs. He had recently married and was soon to be a father.

And if he’d complained about the government they would have gassed his village. I also fail to see what his religion has to do with it; are we to believe if he belonged to some other faith the rebels would have merely sent him a strongly worded letter?

This from a absolute idiot who finished last at the Naval Academy, prevented from being expelled only because he had a Admiral father (and grandfather). Now this douchebag poses with Al Queda Islamists and tells us they are freedom fighters. He belongs in a rubber room.

Islam must be wiped from the face of the Earth forever. We will never have peace until we are willing to do what is needed to rid ourselves of this sickness which infects humanity.

All of the great powers must come together once and for all and focus their might against this scourge and rid of us it once and for all.

Unfortunately, the West is not “ignoring the atrocities.” It’s aiding and abetting them. Obama, McCain, Kerry, both parties in DC, and the media. Muslims have been killing Christians all over the world for years, and not a peep out of any of them, Democrat or Republican, with VERY few exceptions.

I keep repeating this message to bring some awareness to what I think may be prophetically significant,

From a June 2012 news story: the Muslim Brotherhood’s Egyptian (then) presidential candidate, Mohammed Morsi stated that Christians will be forced to “convert, pay tribute, or leave.”

What this says, is that in Egypt, Christians are essentially becoming ‘outcasts’ in their own country,

Isaiah Chapter 27:13
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”

Three things are mentioned here along with ‘in that day’ meaning I believe within the context of the day of the Lord,

1. Believers are “ready to perish in the land of Assyria”
2. there are “outcasts” from the land of Egypt
3. The “great trumpet shall be blown”

The ‘great trumpet’ is (I believe) the Trump of God, the same one heard in Exodus 19,

Pray for those Christians suffering persecution in Egypt and those attempting to escape the fighting in Syria and in all of the middle east,

this is a whirlwind, and our nation under this administration set this in motion,

Pray for the the peace of Jerusalem,

IMHO, FReepers should take a gander at websites where they are made by Syrian people.

You’ll perhaps find things you don’t agree with, but just ride it out, so you can hear and see the whole thing for yourself.

I’ve visited a couple sites and WOW was I surprised and saddened. I could not agree with everything they said, but man they said a lot that made the UK and the US and whoever else is meddling there, like NGOs, etc., very bad.

You will find amidst what you don’t like some people who simply want other muslim countries, the US, the UK, Israel, etc., to leave them alone. And you will find they do not necessarily like Assad. But you will find the now “old fashioned” secular muslim country. People who hate Al Qada and know that the rebels, Al-Qada, and the Western governments are all in cahooties.

Those seculars, who dress in quite a Western manner, who are more than happy to live with Christians and Jews, may not like the state of Israel, but they realize this whole attack on their nation is not about religion, it’s about the big money man coming to take over their country and subject them to living under probably a Muslim Brotherhood regime that would be far worse than Assad was.

It is very, very sad, IMHO. It is just wrong what America and Europe are doing.

I do not have an answer for the Israel-Muslim issues, but this idea of knocking off government after government is wrong and only benefits the financial oligarchy at a high cost to a lot of normal citizens in a lot of countries. If only the governments could leave the people alone. But as long as the financial oligarchy is controlling governments, that ain’t gonna happen.

Some people around the world probably realize that it’s not the American people at large that are causing these events or wanting them to happen at all. I am so sick of the financial oligarchy’s grip on America.

Oh....lets give them more weapons...oh, wait, they don’t need more weapons to kill.

The dirty little secrete is that the rebels do not need the small arms Obama said he would now send. They get all they need from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. When Obama says he is now sending small arms and there are only Americans on the border, the truth probably is that we are now directly giving them medium arms (manpads) and American troops are now in Syria (scouting).

I said on 12 September 2001 that we would fight these guys for fifty years and never finish it. I was called “bloodthirsty” by an Airforce guy, and lost a friend when I said we bite the bullet and finish this Dresden style. Save lives in the long run by getting it over with. The West no longer fights wars. We manage conflict.

I have said the same thing from the start and was called worse.

I also argued from the start that being vicious and decisive and ending it quick would actually SAVE lives over the long run. And just as you experienced no one listened.

The example I always use is: Remember fallujia? remember when all the terrorists were holed up there cutting off peoples heads and hanging our soldiers burned naked corpses from the bridge? If we had dropped a small nuke or a few daisy cutters on that city, the rag heads would of been lined up in lines 100 miles long to surrender, because they would of known we were serious. Think of all the trillions we would of saved, all the 1,000’s of soldiers on OUR side would still be alive, and how many 100’s of thousands on their side would still be alive.

All of this is on the liberals lap, for refusing to fight war the way they have to be in order to win.

I don’t know. We can try to inform people, which helps a little. We can get behind the good leaders, but there are very few of them, and the powers that be make sure that none of them get nominated for POTUS.

It is very difficult. A. M. Rosenthal, a long-time editor of the NY Times, spoke out about the killings of Christians around the world by Muslims and Communists, and tried to organize a group who would spread the word against the persecution of Jews and Christians, but not long after that he was retired from the newspaper.

Oddly he was permitted, for years, to prevent reporters and underling editors from running openly gay stories in the Times, whose staff was largely gay even then. It didn’t become the foremost gay newspaper until he left. But speaking out about the worldwide persecution of Christians proved to be too much for them to permit, and he was eased out the door.

Re the Sino-Indian and the Sino-Vietnamese border wars, these things are to the participants a lot like the way the various characters in the Kurosawa movie Rashomon perceived that melodrama - every single person saw something quite different from what the others did. As an amateur Russia-watcher turned China-watcher (after the collapse of the Berlin wall), what strikes me about the end of the Sino-Indian and Sino-Vietnamese wars is how vehemently the Indians and the Vietnamese feel that they were defeated. And the reason they feel this is because of their perception that they lost territory in those clashes. Clearly, there was no shortage of triumphalism on all sides during the conflicts in question - a fair amount issued in order to buck up morale and bolster support for the respective governments in power at the time.

Ultimately, I think there's a lot of reflexive and unwarranted contempt for the fighting ability of Chinese forces. Between their record in the Korean War and as the one of the few countries in Asia that inflicted enough casualties on European troops during their limited clashes to deter complete conquest, I'd say they have little to prove.

Re the Vietnamese, I'd say the seeds of future contention between the DRV and PRC were sown as early as 1974, over a year before the collapse of Saigon in 1975, when the PRC occupied the Paracel Islands and drove off an RVN attempt to dislodge them. I suspect it was then that that the DRV realized that the Chinese might have adopted the Communist label, but they continued to divide the world into two categories - current provinces and future provinces.

As to may you live in interesting times, that's probably chinoiserie, rather than Chinese. It was one of the literary devices used by authors when they wanted to use an aphorism that they had coined and thought sounded neat but needed a source of ancient provenance to give it weight. Given that very few Westerners then (or now, for that matter) were acquainted with the Chinese language, it was easy enough to attribute the saying to the Chinese.

That is total bovine excrement. The Indians gained territory, and the Viet incident was a draw regarding territory (the Chinese losses by Western standards was, again "horrific."), and the Indians would laugh at that assessment in your post. I've spoken to the Indians (and as my previous post to you, the Pakistanis). And no, I haven't spoken to any of the N. Vietnamese (of course that was/is forbidden given my background).

Your intelligence is admirable, and your perspective is interesting. I will watch your posts.
