Washington’s decision to arm Syria’s Sunni Muslim rebels has plunged America into the great Sunni-Shia conflict of the Islamic Middle East, entering a struggle that now dwarfs the Arab revolutions which overthrew dictatorships across the region.

Which rebels? The terrorists who have taken over the rebels or the rebels who have long ago lost their control of their side.

If they’re killing Christians..you can bet it’s the Islamic terrorists coming in.and those establishing control against Assad.

The protestors who began this have long gone home or out of the country.

Former ambassador Bolton and Foxnews analyst Col. Hunt both just said we need to stay out of that mess.

GeronL....If obama does this he is breaking the law. I read the section earlier today that he can’t do this...but then we know the law doesn’t mean squat to him anyway. ...does what he wants and then lets the squabbles begin after the fact while he moves his agendas forward.

Well yes then...they are the ones killing Christians. ...and without hesitation of course...and not just Christians...they’re even killing Syrians regardless of what side they are on.

We know these disgusting pieces of crap love war, love fighting ..love killing...and have no fear whatsoever of death. They are killing machines.

As for the US tax dollars funding them....just what do you think any American can do to stop that? Same with funding abortion etc.? Same with all the corruption and money flowing into the coffers of whatever the name is of what is now leading our country? All I know is it’s not America anymore.....it’s Obamaland.

So do we just stop paying taxes...refuse to buy obamacare...stop paying any tax on anything? I’m quite serious...what is the answer?

Me too...

The WMD”S are very much in Syria....all those fighting there now are doing so to gain access to them...now the International Community hollers for the US to get on board...it’s always us who has to do this...and then they fight against us anyway.

It’s a no win, terrible time in our country...and frankly in the world if this war happens.

They haven’t a clue of the grave results if they do this....and wouldn’t care if they did. Terrible moments in history as these guys attempt to play hardball with those who don’t play..they kill.

In answer to why American resources are going to be used to support the rebels, the answer is that the boss is on the Sunni side which happens to be that of the Muslim Brotherhood. The battle in Syria is all about that, just as it was in other areas of the so-called Arab Spring when both Mubarak and Gaddafi were softening toward Shiites in their respective nations. The new national anthem: “Keep on the Sunni side of life.”

Obama is on the side of whoever is killing Christians. in this case it is the "rebels" who are doing that, while Assad protects Christians

As Americans we need to support Assad, but as a Sunni Moslem, Obama is supporting Alqaeda against Assad.

CAWW: All I know is it’s not America anymore.....it’s Obamaland. -- TRUE

just what do you think any American can do to stop that? -- I believe even Dims don't want to be involved in another war. We need to reach across the aisle and get everyone to write and protest to their congressmen/senators to stop this action by the Sunni President

Same with funding abortion etc.? -- we need to change our language when talking to dims -- if someone says that pro-abortion is "pro-choice" we must correct them to saying it is "pro-baby-killing" --> if we agree to using the term or letting them use the term "pro-choice" it means we are "anti-choice" which is where we lose the war for newspeak (same with calling them progressives or liberals)

So do we just stop paying taxes...refuse to buy obamacare...stop paying any tax on anything? -- for salaried people it's nearly impossible. If you own your own business then you can be, ahem, creative. But as a salaried person I boycott any and all businesses that support the leftist agenda even if it means inconvenience or doing without (quite frankly the "doing without" is just in my mind -- there are always alternatives)

The right way is the Atlas Shrugged way -- let the beast starve when it can't get our tax money

"Can someone refresh my memory? Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys in Syria? I can’t seem to figure it out."

The baddest of the bad guys is Obama. There aren't any good guys.

No. We need to sit back and watch the bastards exterminate each other.

Exactly right. Both sides suck. Let them fight each other to the last man.
