14-Year-Old Refuses To Remove NRA T-Shirt, Faces 1 Year In Jail

AUTHOR Kristin Tate

If his tee shirt read “Abortion - Protect your rights” he’d a been lauded as a hero.

Well, rules are rules.

And sometimes you have to crush the stupid barstids that came up with rules that try to abrogate the 1st and 2nd amendment.

And, of course, ignore and flaunt ignoring those rules.

It's messy and harsh, but freedom works like that.

Here's a link to a local news article: WTRF

These eff'in liberals keep pushing and nudging. Remember their names. If they do not back off and start respecting our God-given rights, then they will see the free exercise thereof.

Check! Absooolutely! In this country now, anything the right supports is “illegal” but when it comes to the left anything and everything including murder is “your rights”.

Does “mrconservative.com” have a problem with FR such that only one-sentence excerpts can be posted? Not that the full article said much more.

We obtained official court documents from both sides of this case. On one hand, the arresting officer from the Logan City Police Department, James Adkins, claims that when Jared refused to stop talking, that hindered his ability to do his job, hence, the obstruction charge. On the other side, Ben White points out that nowhere in the arresting officer's petition, does it mention Jared ever making any threats or acting in a violent manner.

Apparently, peasants aren't allowed to interrupt the King's Men anymore...

"obstruction" is the catch-all charge. if you sneeze they'll cuff your for it.

but he's a juvenile. He wouldn't get "a year in jail" if he murdered someone. Why would he for wearing a dangerous T-shirt?

The author is a freakin hottie!

No it does not. The poster could have posted the entire article.

In the case of an article that must be excerpted, we can post up to 300 words or 1/2 of the article, whichever comes first.

The only exception I know of is articles from the AP. JimRob has requested we keep those excerpts to 100 words.

He’ll get a deferred judgment and no record.

He should have been completely left alone, of course.

On one hand, the kid should show some respect for the cop.

On the other hand the cop is WAY outta line about harassing some kid for his T-Shirt graphics, especially 2nd amendment stuff. The cop should know way better. Search the kid for a gun or knife, OK. Search him for a un-PC T-Shirt? The guy needs to find a real beat.

File counter charges : violation of civil rights under color of authority . Basically charge the school officials with civil rights violations & play it up in the press .
