TUCSON — Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer won a battle with state lawmakers this week, defying most other conservatives in her party to get a key component of President Obama’s Medicaid expansion through the Legislature.
The Arizona Senate voted Thursday to approve the measure 18 to 11. That followed approval earlier this week by the state House of Representatives.
The issue had inflamed passions and divided the Legislature for weeks. Things came to a head Tuesday when Brewer called lawmakers into the Capitol in Phoenix for a surprise special session.

I am tired of worrying about the national issues because there is absolutely nothing we can do about them. The idiots of the RINO party in Sodom on the Potomac don’t care about us. I'm not sure there's much we can do at this point. It appears the majority of D.C. is pushing hard toward an agenda to reform America.
Three more years of Obozo? Look at what's happened in 4 1/2, particularly in the last 6 months.
Among all the scandals, there is ONE huge scandal. It is called Conspiracy.
All this scandal info poured out in rapid succession on the America people...months AFTER the election.
There has been an enormous conspiracy to get Obozo back into the white house. There are scores of people up in D.C. that knew all of this info months if not years before this election....and hid it from the American people.
If all this had come out months before the election...this big eared bozo would never been elected.
Three and a half more years of this cronyism up there in D.C., I'm not sure this country will be quite as civil.

One thing we can doi is dedicate ourselves to recruiting or converting one new voter for conservative causes. One agnostic, one 18 year old, one disgruntled union member...
This about it -if every one on this board converted just one voter the ripple effect would probably spread to at least 1/2 as many more and we'd soon equal the number Romney would have needed to win.
It should be everyone's goal to dump every liberal and RINO possible in 2014.

If illegal amnesty thing passes, all of this won't matter. Conservatives will be outnumbered as a voting block.
Evidence of this is found in the last few presidential elections. Our country is pretty evenly split between dems and pubs.
With millions of low income messy-cans given legal status, they will be eligible to bring up to four of their family members here after amnesty. Not being ugly, but do the math.

Sounds like she did the right thing according to how the citizens had already voted.
The sick and poor need to be weeded out...if the immediate family, or its community can’t solve the problem...why should a stranger to the situation be forced to pick up the tab?
Make it the family’s project or the community via a church...ABOLISH all the government employers and employees that are needed to support the sick and poor parasites...
