"Well, except now he is telling the world that the US is hacking China’s networks."

Yea, I wuz reading about that earlier 2Day. Hence the comment.

That the US is hacking Chinese networks is likely not real newz, but Snowden seems to have more shoes to drop, so we'll see just what he is over time.

The Jury is still out....

IF he is doign htis- it rasises what he’s doen to a whiolwe new level which very well could include a charge of treason- Whereas simpyl releassign certain ifnformation wouldn’t have, when it specifically taRGets our people and makes them a marked target overseas in enemy terroritory, then you are talkign a whole new level of whatever-

Ping your post. "There is a lot of crap being sold here, and sadly, a lot of people bought into. Hook, line, and sinker."

I'm with you. His employment record and activities needs deep scouring. He could have been feeding China for a while before moving to Booz Allen for a short time and then taking the fast boat to China. This guy merits no trust at all.

PS Your comment on the ex-servicemen was quite apt.

I think that’s Glenn Greenwald, the reporter at the Guardian, that they’re referring to.

So far it's only "metadata" regarding gov't snooping on ALL citizens without cause.

Well, metadata is more than enough. But I'm not sure where I stand on this one.

I'm glad he blew the whistle on this, yet he's seeking assylum where Russia may welcome him into their country.

Are we in The Twilight Zone here?

That they violate the law and not one of them had the balls as this bastard? Really????.

No one's claiming they violate the law.

The problem is that the law is bad and must go. In my opinion, you're on the wrong side in this fight. There are ways to fight terrorism without making all of us suspects.

Why don't you see that?

LOL! I keep hearing that on the news, too.

Hearing "megadata" is a dog whistle that the speaker doesn't really know what he's saying.

After reading your endless comments on this topic, I have to wonder - who do you trust in our current government? I’m honestly curious. I read about the families of the Seal Team re: extortion 17 and how they went to Rubio, before he outed himself as a tool, and were all but dismissed.

I just can’t imagine who anyone would/could trust with such information. I know your argument regarding his oath and all that, and that is not what I’m curious about, I am only wondering who you would go to IF you had information that was damning. Thanks

Sigh; we already have! At the airport yesterday I was in the long cattle line of TSA; shoes off, hands up, body scan. As I looked around at the hundreds of us in line, ALL I could think of what that yes, the stinky al queda *sp* has won. It is so disheartening.

"Are we in The Twilight Zone here? "

With Zer0 and his minions in charge, we've been deep within the Twilight Zone for ~ 5 years.

Are you saying the government is NOT spying on all of us? Not one government official has said Snowden made any of this up.

I find it odd that the government would get pissed off at someone for saying they’re doing something that they’re not doing.

I’m referring to MegaData as being the content which they are likely taking too - what are they going to store at the new repository in Utah?

After reading your endless comments on this topic, I have to wonder - who do you trust in our current government?

If you have to ask, then it is obvious you haven't read many of my comments. I don't trust liberals, libertarians or most republicans.

, I am only wondering who you would go to IF you had information that was damning. Thanks

Certainly not China, but then I was told that stealing was illegal, unethical and immoral. Ever wonder if he contacted Ron Paul?
