Rand Paul to Illegals: ‘We Will Find a Place for You;' Envisions 12 Million ‘New Taxpayers’
CNS News ^ | 061213 | Terence P. Jeffrey

Posted on 06/12/2013 8:23:21 AM PDT by Fred

(CNSNews.com) - In his prepared text for a speech he is delivering today at the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, Sen. Rand Paul (R.-Ky.) said to illegal aliens who want to live and work in the United States: “[W]e will find a place for you.”

Paul also said he envisions today’s illegal aliens becoming additional “taxpayers.”

“Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers,” said Paul.

Illegal aliens working in the United States today are not exempted from complying with the nation's tax laws anymore than they are exempted from complying with U.S. laws governing immigration or document fraud.

He has to support it. It’s a done deal. Opposing it gains him nothing.

Rand and others do not realize that passing this bill will gain the GOP oblivion.

The cultural attitude of these illegal criminals is that they strongly view government programs and necessary and good (hence, their support of RATS)

These 20M+ criminal illegals have on average 6 children who will be raised in Spainish only, anti-American, strongly anti-Republican households.

It will be the GOP-e that will doom this Republic to being a third world Sewer.

What the idiot Rand and Rubio don't care to see is that this bill is checkmate for our Republic as founded.

Paul also said he envisions today’s illegal aliens becoming additional “taxpayers.”

But what about all the "taxpayers" that have wrongly been aborted since activist justices decided Roe v. Wade?

The unemployment rate in Mexico is lower than ours, so if they “just want to work” they would go back to Mexico. What they really want is the freebies from those gov’t programs.

I found a place for them, Rand. It’s called Mexico (along with other nations).

It is going to pass. The fix is in. Like Obama’s election. Like Obamacare. And yes, it will be the end of the republic as we know it. He is trying to remain relevant. It won’t work, there are too many, but he’s trying to gain the ear of at least a few of the newly “legal” residents.

but the idea that these folks are paid under the table is fantasy.

Do you think all the day laborers being picked up around Home Depots and numerous other locations are working for employers who fill out all the required forms, withhold FICA and other taxes, i.e., and keep all the records employers are required to keep on their employees?

Many are paid under the table and many probably work fewer hours for many employers than would require withholding, and it's likely planned that way.

Not the day labor at Home Depot, no, but that’s tiny percentage. Most are maids in Hotel chains or long term employees at landscaping, drywall, janitorial contrtacting firms, etc, - and those firms mostly have standard payroll procedures.

More like 12 million new wards of the state. Rand Paul surely knows this - he’s at least as smart as I am.

I don’t get it. You need to do some research about Sen. Rand Paul's position and find out he has no interest in making these illegal Mexicans into US citizens. He wants to give them green cards (work visas) so they can pick crops and pay taxes and be prevented from cashing in on the freebies here.

If Paul can't amend the Rubio bill to do that, he will vote against it.
