In his prepared text for a speech he is delivering today at the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, Sen. Rand Paul (R.-Ky.) said to illegal aliens who want to live and work in the United States: “[W]e will find a place for you.”
Paul also said he envisions today’s illegal aliens becoming additional “taxpayers.”
“Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers,” said Paul.

If he thinks these scofflaws are going to come out of the shadows and fill the treasury trough with taxes, he’s delusional. They will continue to evade taxes and commit identity theft and welfare fraud while pretending to follow the path to citizenship.

Rand Paul was a ray of hope that we could turn this country around. That hope is gone.
Will he find a place for the Americans who live on the border states who will need to move north of the new border?
Or is he pretending these illegals are going to suddenly spread out and start acting differently, appreciating our country and speaking our language?
Is he pretending to himself too, that there are only 12 million? Because it is not just BO and his minions we don’t believe, it’s these guys too.
And if he’s pretending, what is he doing in the Senate?
