During an interview with FOX Business, former Rep. Ron Paul explained that he was concerned about the well-being of National Security Agency whistle-blower Edward Snowden.

“I’m worried about somebody in our government might kill him with a cruise missile or a drone missile,” Paul explained. “I mean we live in a bad time where American citizens don’t even have rights and that they can be killed, but the gentlemen is trying to tell the truth about what’s going on.”

Paul added that there were no signs of Snowden defecting to a foreign country, which meant that he was not really a threat.....

Really? You mean obama has never, ever had any Americans killed who he even considers to be enemies? Never?

Good point.

George Washington did run away and hide in China.

You sure know your US history!

Yeah, because the people who do that follow all the rules. BTW, it is said that George Barris (The Gong Show) and Steven Segal both used to do that for a living.

In the meantime, I've figured who should play Snowden in the inevitable TV docudrama...

Arthur Darvill, from "Once, the Musical" and, of course, "Doctor Who".

To be fair, General Washington had an army at his back. Where is Mr. Snowden’s army?

Keep drinking the Obamao/MSM/DiFi/Maxine Waters/Boner kool aid. Any American who still cares about freedom recognizes PRISM is a massive violation of the 4th amendment.

Usually Id say that Ron Paul is the whackiest of whack jobs but in this case, considering how bad Snowden makes Obama look and there are people out there that are willing to do anything to protect Obama, I wouldnt be surprised if Snowden gets taken out, not by a drone, but killed by some other means, it might already have been done

Assuming he is what he says he is, it may as well be a drone strike that gets him.

Whether it comes by a button being pushed or a phone call being made, if he is what he says he is, he'll be disappeared and the person who wants that done won't get their hands dirty making it happen.

It's primitive, to be sure. Maybe in a few years, they won't need drones. They'll just drop a tungsten rod from space. But for now, tyranny is as tyranny does and will have to make do with what is available.

I’m concerned that they will NOT take him seriously. This is not a joke and could very likely happen. We’ve stepped into a political sci-fi novel.

So I guess a few ‘silencers’ here, a ‘little’ 4th Amendment violation there, an occasional US citizen assassination without due process wherever, it’s all good cuz the ends justifies the means. The system has been corrupted. Those in power ignore laws. Why ANYONE still obeys any law is a wonderment....

Sorry, I do take it seriously...in like NDAA “belligerent” act seriously...

This is where the NDAA of 2012 comes back to haunt us. Well, under the NDAA all it takes is to commit a “belligerent” act. Who defines what that is? The President of the United States. http://www.belligerentact.org/

Congress is taking up the issue of Snowden today. Will he be deemed a whistleblower or traitor. Feinstein has already tipped their hand. The argument is if by revealing what the NSA is doing did Snowden commit a ‘belligerent act?’ Did he compromise the security of the United States? If the President says he did...then he is an enemy of the state and subject to the provisions under the NDAA.

in the old days traitors were shot...would not mind seeing the practice revived..lot cheaper than a drone

Okay, so exposing the fact that the NSA is doing domestic spying is traitorous?

Please explain how Snowden is "aiding and abetting" the enemy?Or, did you mean use the drones on D.C.?

As I see it, the evil left and the GOP-e are the true enemies of our beloved Constitution.

“Disappeared” being the operative word. Isn’t there a tape someone made of a couple of NSA guys saying, “he needs to be disappeared”?
