Republicans and Democrats rush to welcome the former secretary of state, who playfully describes herself as a 'pantsuit aficionado' with a future that is 'TBD.'

The Twitterati, both Republicans and Democrats, rolled out the red carpet to welcome Hillary Clinton after she opened a Twitter account on Monday.

President Obama gave his former secretary of state a shout out, saying he was "happy to welcome" her.

Her former colleague in the Senate, Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), offered his warm greetings to "another great NYer," and New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand also sent greetings.

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod and Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) chimed in to express their pleasure at her joining the Twittersphere.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) sent a warm message to congratulate her entry - and even the spokesman for the Republican National Committee, Sean Spicer, sent his greetings.

The site lit up when Hillary officially unlocked her account on the social networking website early Monday. After just a few hours she had amassed over 340,000 followers.

She playfully described her achievements in her profile bio, describing herself as "wife, mom, lawyer, women & kids advocate, FLOAR, FLOTUS, US Senator, SecState, author, dog owner, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, glass ceiling cracker, TBD..."

Twitter creator Jack Dorsey gave the Twitter newbie his seal of approval, tweeting that he "loved" her description.

With tongues wagging about her political future, her inclusion of "TBD" caused many to wonder if she was hinting at things to come. But her spokesman downplayed the rumors.

"She had to sum up the rest of her life in 3 letters. And TBD just made sense," Philippe Reines told NBC's Today.

Society has really reached new lows when a washed up old failed hag is glorified for typing one sentence messages.
