Sure most people just see refugees, but Democrats see voters. A number of the refugees will be Christian, but somehow I think Obama isn’t all that interested in Christian refugees.
Taking in Muslim refugees from Muslim civil wars in Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere has largely been a disaster. The original World Trade Center bombing happened in part because the United States was willing to host Egyptian Islamists who would have been arrested in their own country. And who exactly will be taking in now?
If the Muslim Brotherhood Jihadists lose in Syria, their leaders will flee to Europe and America where they will suborn, undermine and plan acts of terror.
Two years into a civil war that shows no signs of ending, the Obama administration is considering resettling refugees who have fled Syria, part of an international effort that could bring thousands of Syrians to American cities and towns.
A resettlement plan under discussion in Washington and other capitals is aimed at relieving pressure on Middle Eastern countries straining to support 1.6 million refugees, as well as assisting hard-hit Syrian families.
The State Department is “ready to consider the idea,” an official from the department said, if the administration receives a formal request from the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, which is the usual procedure.
The United States usually accepts about half the refugees that the U.N. agency proposes for resettlement. California has historically taken the largest share, but Illinois, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia are also popular destinations.
While this is supposed to ease the burden on Jordan, the Jordanians aren’t too enthusiastic about Obama creating a massive immigration magnet that leads through Jordan to America.

I don't think he cares, do you? I think his ego is fueled by whatever pieces of his radical agenda he can put in place, not what Joe Q. Public happens to think of him.
What's he got to lose? He can indulge his muslim sympathies by settling a million more here. If stopped by congress or public outcry, he can indulge his muslim sympathies by pointing out in speech after speech how hateful Americans are, while handing CAIR and ilk fundraising bait and opportunities to agitate. Either way, it's another chance to poke the country in the eye and try to overwhelm his enemies with the sheer number of radical things he's doing.
If only he DID care what the man and woman on the street think!

After scrutinizing the news, history, culture of the Mideast, I think we ought to be a little cautious about using the generic term "Christian" on those from within the Muslim-dominated areas.
I've felt strongly about this in general, and have felt the need to coin the term "Christino" or "Christianino" to cover these "Christian In Name Only" (as our RINO is used for those aligned politically but not really committed to the basic beliefs of that party).
It has recently been pointed out to me that the behaviors of Mideast "Christinos" may be not at all what a Western "Christian" might expect, but may rather be not discernibly different than that of the typical Mideast Muslim cultural neighbors.
So, please, I beg of you, don't jump to the conclusion that your statement reflects. There may be a very good reason to reject anyone who cannot easily become acculturated to the Western religious/political tolerance that our Constitution demands of its citizens (but which islamic jihadism does not).
Just like when Clinton brought in all those Muslim Somalis and dumped them in Minnesota and Tennessee, which have had nothing but problems out of them ever since. Or those Palestinians in Dearborn and Newark...what could go wrong?
