So obviously Rush, Sean & Mark are a whole bunch smarter and understand the issues than many posters.

Or maybe they have their heads where the sun don't shine.

Just sent an email to Rubio. Told him border security must come before everything.

“Why doesn’t Rubio just change parties now and be honest? He is acting like so many ETHNIC Americans, race first, America second!”

I don’t think it matters much what party he belongs to anymore. They’re pretty much on the same page it seems to me.

“Is he REALLY that stupid?”

No, we’re really that stupid. We don’t control our government anymore. We don’t have representatives we have ‘leaders’ .

How much time will there be between the legalization and the securing of the border? Will someone stand there at the gate and finally secure the velvet rope and say, “no more?”

Ok, so they are legal. And then its court cases about how they should be able to vote if they are paying taxes, and its illegal to discriminate against them by not giving them benefits.

The man clearly has it backwards. Securing the integrety of our borders and inforcing our laws comes first. Then we can talk about providing a legal way for persons who have entered illegally, or overstayed a legal visa, or violated the terms of their visa, to legitimise their status.

RE “In a Spanish-language interview Sunday with the network Univision, Sen. Marco Rubio, the leading Republican on the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform group, .....Let’s be clear,” Rubio said. “Nobody is talking about preventing the legalization. The legalization is going to happen. That means the following will happen: First comes the legalization. Then come the measures to secure the border. And then comes the process of permanent residence.”

Does Rubio need us for anything?
I think he has new friends to play with.

>> I have been monitoring Marco’s Facebook page and its pretty ugly. Hopefully they will get rid of him next term. <<

You're missing my point. They got rid of Martinez after one term and replaced with THIS guy (Rubio), because made the SAME mistake six years later and didn't vet their candidates before anointing them as the "true conservative" standbearer.

What's to stop them from replacing Rubio with yet another "true conservative" in 2016, who turns out to be a pro-amnesty establishment hack AFTER he takes office?

Rubio has always been this way. He showed his inner liberal when he first ran for senator. I knew he was trouble back before the primary. Some people were fooled by him, others weren’t. The republicans in this state and nationally were happy to have a token hispanic with the ability to fool TEA parties. I honestly believe the only reason Rush and others have spoken up so forcefully for Rubio is the republican fear that if he jumps ship, they will be required to have the word bigot written across their foreheads whenever they appear in public.
