And so begins our annual 8th TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot. We are having a great time!
The Mom and crew are busy with family who stopped into town to attend the shoot and visit, so she asked me to get the thread started.

Thanks lauren for starting this thread! It is so much appreciated by me.
The past few days have been amazing, fun and lots of memories were made.
This shoot had the largest attendence to date, last count was 36!
I, and others, will post more details and pictures later . . . but right about now we have some serious margarita’s to drink.

I never had the chance to meet TexasCowboy, but like many of you, I wanted to pause a moment and honor the memory of this truly remarkable man. We are poorer without him, and Heaven is richer!
His words...
I don't dwell on horror stories like so many people on the support Web sites. I never look at the whole forest; I concentrate on one tree at a time. When I open my eyes in the morning, I thank God for the gift of another day, and it's the only day that's important.
... This is a family effort, and I can feel the love and compassion from all over this land.
