As long as they stay in New York they are safe from me, but as soon as they cross the border, watch out!

New York is way in the lead for their efforts to make everyone a felon.

Tell a cop to go screw himself, 2 years in prison and now you are a felon.

What a great city-————————not

State and Federal appeals courts will have a field day with this one.

NYC is the root of all corruption and decay in America.

Will filming them be “annoying”?

The law says you have to have physical contact with the officer......don’t touch the officer...no problems....this is all due to people trying to be youtube sensations and behaving outrageously to provoke an officer into responding to behavior which causes them to be alarmed for their safety.

There is no specification in the law as to what will be considered "annoying" or "harassing" an officer besides "subjecting them to physical contact."

No kidding.

I would like to just add to your Post and say it is the east Coast distributor, San Francisco is the west coast adherent.

Not only is the headline wrong, but the first sentence is wrong.

No bill has been signed into law as far as I can tell. So, it’s not illegal ‘yet’ to annoy a cop, although I can guess it will be.

Dig back into Frisco’s history and see where their liberalism all came from, I’ll bet it was NYC.

Another reason not to visit NY. I might annoy an officer and be beaten beyond recognition.

Why would someone want to annoy a NY police officer? Who is wanting it to be legal to do this?
