A bill making its way through the New York state legislature would make it a crime to annoy a police officer by subjecting them to physical contact.
The New York State Senate on Wednesday passed the bill that would make it a felony to "harass, annoy, threaten or alarm" an on-duty police officer, WIVB.com reported.

“annoy and alarm” are completely vague and beyond subjective... I would think threaten and harass had already been no,no’s.
If Coppers lay a hand on them during their little 'wilding episodes' (Riots!), the Cop's hung out to dry and looking at personal lawsuits. Not to mention a poop-storm of feigned outrage from the leftist MSM, all the Store-Front Revruns, and the Pols and PD Chiefs that cower to them.
(The NYPD should have been bustin' skulls during that OWS bs, but couldn't.)

That is when I fled NY, a state where I was born and raised and loved - at least the upstate part of it.
The job situation and taxes were bad then and that is what drove us out. Now they are much worse. Plus the Cuomo Crime Family still runs the joint.
The majority of upstaters are as conservative as anybody anywhere else but they are outnumbered and oppressed by the teeming Liberal masses and their criminal Liberal (but, I repeat myself) politicians from downstate.
Politically speaking, I would imagine that long Island, New York City, and Buffalo set the tone.
Harass, threaten, alarm, I can see, but annoy? Hell, I get annoyed at all kinds of piddly little things!
A, yes; the FLEEING FELON statute. Make fleeing a felony and shoot 'em if they run. That would surely shorten a lot of episodes of COPS!

CA, PA, IL etc have the same problem, and the lib-dems are a virus disease spreading to other states, unchecked. They ruined and destroyed the big cities, education, gov’t, almost everywhere. TX is even going blue near the bottom, if you look at 2004-08-12 GE (county) maps.
