I hope our state follows their lead. There is such a huge difference between the liberal west side of Washington State and the east side.

Several years back, farmers in west Kansas and eastern Colo wanted to leave and form their own state - the farmers were tired of ‘paying taxes to a urban black hole’ where little if anything in services came back to their counties.
Denver and the Kansas Cites are all a cesspit.
I wouldn't miss them.

San Joaquin Valley wants to split from LA and SF. Our split would need to be north to south.
I think a good alternative is to let Boulder stay “weird”, let Denver have their pot. They can join forces in their own little corridor of suck. Like call it California 2.0 or something like that. The rest of the state gets to keep our guns, bibles and freedom.

Absolutely. I’m an IL native, CO transplant and with the exception of Chicago and E.St. Lous and the Quad Cities, the entire state is red. We’ve been screwed by Chicago for years.

Sure is. In the 2012 election, the majority voted for the Republican presidential candidate and the Republican candidate for governor. But I’m afraid the region gets a little bit more purple every 4 years as those on the west side flee what they have wrought, and settle here.
I’m a 34 year transplant. Left in ‘79 before things got really bad. Visiting my folks back there causes me to break out in hives!!!!
Vote it out of the Commonwealth. The rest of us could outvote the lesser armpit RAT strongholds in Pittsburgh, Scranton and Erie, sort of like Tennessee outvotes Memphis.
