Bipartisan meetings in the House of Representatives on a comprehensive immigration reform bill have failed, and the congressmen will meet for the last time today without reaching an agreement on a House bill, ABC News has learned.

The stumbling block is GOP insistence that newly legalized workers now working in the shadows have no access to government-sponsored health care...

Democrats say that since these newly legalized immigrants would be paying taxes they should be eligible for benefits...

..and open borders!

How stupid is it to offer amnesty before closing the gate?

Isn’t there something the Mitch McConnell can do to save this? Would hate it to go down just for some silly little healthcare. After all, Mitchy was willing to save it from cloture, surely he can do something to keep it on track...

What kind of govenrment cowflop is this?

Since when are these criminals in the shadows? Are these the latest talking points for the easily led?...

We're supposed to believe ten of millions of these government sponsored criminals are hiding as if they're behind enemy lines? What utter BS.

Go into any major city and millions of them are running thorough the streets, babbling in Spanish, running from government office to government office, collecting tax paid prizes, gifts, whole chickens, beer and cash benefits.

No lung transplant for a little girl, but free health care for the illegals who would molest her.

Sort of a dumb argument ...

If they show up at an emergency room, they will be treated, regardless of their ability to pay.

Unless a new law is passed by the House and Senate and signed by Obama that specifically prohibits medical aid to illegals ... see how ridiculous that sounds? It isn’t going to happen.

And actually, the Dems are right in this case — if they are paying taxes, they should have access to the benefits.

That does not mean that their extended families should be eligible for those benefits, however.

Lemme get this straight.
The RATS want illegals, given amnesty to get free healthcare while the IRS is telling us the average family is going to pay 20K/yr. for a ‘bronze’ plan?

This is the House bill, the ostensibly Republican House, and not the Senate.

The liberal media won't report a balanced story on what may or may not be going on behind closed door.

The place to stop this bill now is in the Senate. The D's hope to treat this hog of a bill like they did Obamacare. They don't mind losing the Senate over passing this treasonous bill, either.

Everything is a distraction, especially the latest outrage, from the attempt to get this trash through the Senate.

It’s become obvious to me that the Democrats had no intention of actually passing immergration reform.

They simply wanted the issue to use against the Republicans in the midterms in the hope that it might stem what would otherwise be a landslide for us.

But it won’t work.

It’s become obvious to me that the Democrats had no intention of actually passing immergration reform.

However, like Gun Control, they planned to have the Senate pass it, then fail in the House.

That way, they could blame the Republicans.

But, if you can't get the Democratic Senate to pass it...
