And well he should. Beating a dead horse is not a pretty sight.

I really like Rubio.
A new face of next generation of leaders.
People tried to tell him he was being used by those in power.

Advice is to stop listening to GOPe and start listening to the people who put him in the Senate.
We The People.

Rubio has been horrible on this issue. Truly horrible. He’s damn good on nearly everything else.

Trouble is if this one issue, ie bill, passes none of those other issues will matter. The nation will forever become socialist California writ large.

As far as I'm concerned Rubio knows this and has chosen his own political future over that of the country. The rest is all lip service.

Yeah, I'm mad at him.

Good for Rubio

The reason they have a Gang of 8 is because they need 8 Senators to provide the necessary votes to steam roller this thing through.

From the standpoint of getting this disastrous Immigration Bill passed a Gang of 7 = Gang of 0 and the bill will fail

Welcome back from the Dark side, Sen Rubio. It's nice to have you back and I hope it was a learning experience

Rubio (R-FL) is searching for an escape hatch from the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill.

Easily done -

1. Put on your Big-Boy Pants

2. Stand up

3. Say:

"This bill has turned into another overbearing monstrosity like the Obamacare bill.
It is not what the American people want or need so I can not support it."

Rubio deserves to be ‘trashed’ (your word, not mine).
He exhibited very poor judgement in aligning himself with the likes of Schumer. The sooner he disavows this insanity the better.

Doesn’t surprise me.

Like Eve in the Garden of Eden, he was seduced by that Evil Old Serpent John McCain - the Father of Lies. Rubio probably felt that he could finesse the immigration mess and lead McCain to logic. Instead McCain tried to use him.

I hope RUbio manages to escape. I really like him and I think he is really a conservative. He was mislead by Satan in the Senate House.

I don’t agree with the bill, not even the framework, but I wish people would not trash Rubio.
*******************************************************************
Would you have said the same about Vidkun Quisling if you were a Norwegian in the 1940s? Face it, Rubio BETRAYED us. I’m not sure there is ever forgiveness for Treason.

Then he needs to take a lesson from my Senator: Ted Cruz.

Yes...he's my senator and I am PROUD....

Golly, did he just figure out what we knew all along, that Schumer and the gang are not to be trusted??

He is the worst, most deceptively craven and cowardly hypocrite among the Republicans in the Senate.

Sadly, he already found the escape hatch. The problem is, we flushed already.

If he said those two sentences into a microphone, the bill would be DEAD.

Rubio stepped in the Gang of 8 and he will never get that stench off.

The immigration bill commercial he is a part of is filled with lies and misrepresentations.

Poor Rubio is realizing Schumer, McCain and Graham played him and quite probably destroyed any future political aspirations he might have had. However, Rubio was pro-amnesty and pro-illegals when he was in the state legislature, so if they did play him, he allowed it.

It will be difficult for Rubio to extricate himself from the immigration bill because he helped write the damn thing.

If he continues to push this crap sandwich all the way through the senate, he deserves whatever is thrown at him.

What I've been thinking too. He's been good on so many issues but this one is a potential death knell to the USA in swamping us with immigrants who are going to so CLEARLY be on the "taker" side of the equation versus the "maker". If this bill is passed, it is so clearly GAME OVER for the USA we grew up loving. It may already be Game Over, but this bill represents the absolute death knell. It is PAINFULLY obvious to anyone who is paying into the system and pays attention to what is going on.

Rubio has been horrible on this issue. Truly horrible. He’s damn good on nearly everything else.

This immigration bill is checkmate for our Republic. Rubio clearly knows the result of passing this bill.

Rubio is an absolute fraud. Never again should Rubio have the support of any Conservative.

Rubio is NOT a Conservative. You cannot be a Conservative and even entertain the thought of supporting such a destructive bill.

Who cares is smooth talking Rubio can "sound" Conservative on other issues. He is a liar.

There are millions of other citizens who would never make the mistake that Rubio made.

None of these slimy politicians should be given a second chance.

We are too close to losing our Republic to allow ourselves to rationalize some way to excuse the Fraud known as Rubio.

My version would be...

Rubio (R-FL) is searching for an escape hatch from the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill.

Easily done -

1. Put on your Big-Boy Pants

2. Stand up

3. Say:

Yes folks, I have finally come to my senses. I am sorry. I really screwed up here. We have 40 million people out of work in our nation, and I was insensitive enough to care out the jobs and well being of foreign nationals before the jobs and well being of my own fellow citizens. How could I have been that blind?

I know I don’t deserve it, but some day I hope you’ll be able to forgive me.

Maybe he shouldn't have his name associated with all those shameless false-flag radio spots pushing the "conservative" immigration reform bill.
