Biden kept the gathered mourners laughing with a series of jokes and anecdotes.

Biden was near the last of the speakers, each of whom had lauded Lautenberg’s accomplishments.

“If there’s a definition of redundant, I’m it,” Biden said as he took the podium.

Biden seemed to enjoy a more jocular take on his eulogy, somewhat roasting Lautenberg with a numerous quips and stories.

“Never explain and never complain,” said Biden. “Well, Frank complained a lot.”

Ohhh Joe!

If you weren’t trying to destroy the country I might be able to laugh.

I will remember Lautenberg for his horrible amendment that stripped people of their Second Amendment rights for misdemeanor crimes retroactively.

Gee, I remember Frank for his love of abortion, support of communism, and for being a control freak like most Democrats.

It is hard to imagine how a WW2 vet and the founder of ADP could become such a socialist in later life.

I wish Andrew Breitbart lived to 89 instead of him.

I remember him for replacing Robert Toricelli on the ballot while the Torch faced criminal charges.

I remember him for saying he was afraid of what conservatives would do to his “little girls” if they wanted an abortion.

The Drudge headline is, “Biden turns comic during Lautenberg funeral.”

What else is new?

The headline is always, “Biden turns comic during ______________________ .” Just fill in the blank.

Biden is the best insurance policy Obama ever bought. I just wonder if Joe knows that.

That’s true. Whenever Obama is in trouble, it only takes two words to quench the fire; “President Biden”.

The NJ chemical industry bought and paid for Lautenburg.

Lautenberg did very little in decades and that is obvious from the sparse list of achievements. Also he wasn’t a nice man, not a lot of stories about him helping people out.
