I was diagnosed with lung cancer last year.

Did you have symptoms or was it discovered during a regular checkup and screening?

In the case of elected officials, I tend to think we have a right to know (celebrities is something else entirely).

It was discovered as a result of a case of bronchitis that wasn’t responding to treatment. My doc ordered a chest X-ray, and the darn thing was there. The came the CAT Scan, PET Scan, and biopsy. My oncologist didn’t fool around. Since there was no metastasis or lymph node problem, he and the surgeon said “Out with the darn thing!”

I think chest X-rays should be part of annual physicals. Early detection is so critical.

Very wise of them and you. As we age, all of those tests both intrusive and non intrusive become more important.

It really does depend on what stage it’s in. I’d be interested in knowing that before they call it “treatable”. Lung cancer is a tough cookie to beat, and unfortunately it’s very fond of metastasizing to the brain.

She lied, when she took the Oath, knowingly, and with the express
motive of disarming Americans, just as Feinstein did, all because of a nut job.

I am a colorectal cancer survivor, with four relocative
surgeries later. It aint time yet, so I tell my story.

Mdme. McCarthy, I froze my butt off in that same snowstorm,
waiting for the LIRR going east from Bethpage, that was held up
due to that idiot, but I dont go screaming antigun.

You, lady, wanted this old guy to not be able to defend my life,
plain and simple. No matter who says it, that person is an anti American
Communist.

May your cancer cocktails make you lose your hair, make you have
short term memory loss, make you taste tinfoil 24/7/365, and lose
your hunger, as it did me.

But, i want you to live and witness the undoing of all that you voted
to foist upon the American People.

“remembering what my mother used to say...”

I draw the line at defense of the country and its constitution. If they are in office, actively undermining it, they get NO SYMPATHY from me.

If it’s some illegal Mexican house cleaner that got cancer, yes, I’d feel bad for her, but McCarthy is nothing but pure evil.

She was, perhaps still is, a heavy cigarette smoker.

Pretty sad, but can’t help but notice here’s yet another example of a gun grabber with no self control against the beckon call of an inanimate object. Just like Sarah Brady.

Maybe if there was a law against cigarettes being sold in high capacity packs of twenty smokes she might not be in this awful mess. Two cigarettes per pack is enough for anyone, you know, so they can’t inhale them so fast. And just think about all those children she recklessly endangered by leaving lighters and matches around because of her dangerous hobby.

She’ll be feted by all the morning “news” programs as “brave” “courageous” blah blah blah, partisan media shills ping.

Thanks SMGFan.

It should be noted that worldwide, lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer.
And that is true for non-smokers as well as smokers.

Just an FYI...
