Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.) said Monday that she had been diagnosed with a treatable form of lung cancer, and would soon begin treatment for the disease.

I despise this troll of a human.
She’s not my favorite either, but I shall pray for her.
remembering what my mother used to say...
Good thing for her that she has the Rolls-Royce level Congressional health care coverage, rather than the veterans health system or Obamacare, huh?
All lung cancers are theoretically "treatable", but successfully?
Now that's another issue altogether.
Seemed to remember JoPa Paterno also had a treatable form of lung cancer.
Not that it meant anything.
I do not care for this woman’s politics but I wouldn’t wish a cancer diagnosis on anyone. I will pray for her healing, body and soul.
I wish her luck. I was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. Fortunately, they found it very early (stage 1A) and they were able to remove the tumor surgically. They removed the upper lobe of my right lung. A year and 6 months later, I’m still cancer free.
Cancer sucks ... I hope she recovers succesfully and loses her seat in an election!
Politically she’s the human equivalent of fecal mater.
That being said, I don’t wish cancer on anyone. I’m sorry she has contracted it, but I am glad it’s treatable.
I just can’t view these things as Leftists do. I actually care about humans, instead of just saying I do, then wishing others dead.
why do politicians and celebrities feel they need to tell us about their illnesses?
never mind....I know why
I will join you in praying for her.
Cancer is a terrible, often very painful disease, and I wouldn’t rejoice if I heard my worst enemy came down with.
God can sort them out when they reach the pearly gates.
That is a vile thing to say.
With all the damage that that...individual...has done to my beloved country I haven't even started. So sorry if you're offended.
Treatable, but it will more than likely come back, and she'll be dead in about 18 months. Both my parents and my sister died from lung cancer.
Prayers up for her and her loved ones.
Prayers for her health. She should resign and spend time with her family.
life has a way of showing the most important things....
Did you have symptoms or was it discovered during a regular checkup and screening?
In the case of elected officials, I tend to think we have a right to know (celebrities is something else entirely).
You will have my prayers.
A tumor has grown a malignant McCarthy.
It was discovered as a result of a case of bronchitis that wasn’t responding to treatment. My doc ordered a chest X-ray, and the darn thing was there. The came the CAT Scan, PET Scan, and biopsy. My oncologist didn’t fool around. Since there was no metastasis or lymph node problem, he and the surgeon said “Out with the darn thing!”
I think chest X-rays should be part of annual physicals. Early detection is so critical.
Very wise of them and you. As we age, all of those tests both intrusive and non intrusive become more important.
It really does depend on what stage it’s in. I’d be interested in knowing that before they call it “treatable”. Lung cancer is a tough cookie to beat, and unfortunately it’s very fond of metastasizing to the brain.
She lied, when she took the Oath, knowingly, and with the express
motive of disarming Americans, just as Feinstein did, all because of a nut job.
I am a colorectal cancer survivor, with four relocative
surgeries later. It aint time yet, so I tell my story.
Mdme. McCarthy, I froze my butt off in that same snowstorm,
waiting for the LIRR going east from Bethpage, that was held up
due to that idiot, but I dont go screaming antigun.
You, lady, wanted this old guy to not be able to defend my life,
plain and simple. No matter who says it, that person is an anti American
May your cancer cocktails make you lose your hair, make you have
short term memory loss, make you taste tinfoil 24/7/365, and lose
your hunger, as it did me.
But, i want you to live and witness the undoing of all that you voted
to foist upon the American People.
“remembering what my mother used to say...”
I draw the line at defense of the country and its constitution. If they are in office, actively undermining it, they get NO SYMPATHY from me.
If it’s some illegal Mexican house cleaner that got cancer, yes, I’d feel bad for her, but McCarthy is nothing but pure evil.
She was, perhaps still is, a heavy cigarette smoker.
Pretty sad, but can’t help but notice here’s yet another example of a gun grabber with no self control against the beckon call of an inanimate object. Just like Sarah Brady.
Maybe if there was a law against cigarettes being sold in high capacity packs of twenty smokes she might not be in this awful mess. Two cigarettes per pack is enough for anyone, you know, so they can’t inhale them so fast. And just think about all those children she recklessly endangered by leaving lighters and matches around because of her dangerous hobby.
She’ll be feted by all the morning “news” programs as “brave” “courageous” blah blah blah, partisan media shills ping.
It should be noted that worldwide, lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer.
And that is true for non-smokers as well as smokers.
Just an FYI...
Lautenberg, McCarthy, and ...?
What’s the trifecta?
“Shes not my favorite either, but I shall pray for her.”
I was raised a Christian but I sure as hell don’t get this business of praying for your enemies. I am elated that Lautenberg died today. It was long overdue, and if Maloney suffers the same fate, I’ll celebrate. These people all hope you die or are subjugated by their laws, and if the roles were reversed, I doubt very much of old Carolyn would get on bended knee for any of us. I see absolutely no reason to ask for divine intervention to save their worthless lives. I’ll bet you “prayed for Saddam.” The next time yo decide to pray for someone, at least pick someone who is worthy of your effort and deserves a longer life on this earth! Prayer is a worthy thing to be used for the benefit of worthy people, not trash like Carolyn Maloney! Flame away!
Must be all that clean, New York livin’.
You do a pretty good job of flaming yourself!
Jesus speaking in Matthew 5: 43 ... You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbori and hate your enemy. 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. ...
“With all the damage that that...individual...has done to my beloved country I haven’t even started. So sorry if you’re offended. “
I am with you all the way! People like Maloney have acted to destroy this wonderful country, so if the “natural selection process” claims them, I’m not of the frame of mind to ask for Divine Intervention on their behalf. Pray for your enemy’s survival, yeah, that’s the ticket. The RATs didn’t waste any time eulogizing The Lautencorpse. Just think back to how that worthless bastard returned to the Senate for another 8 years. The Slimes is already crying about the “balance of power” in the Senate and how much harder it’s going to be for Reid to work his evil ways. Try praying that the Republican Congress have the fortitude and moral fiber to be successful in ridding us of Holder and a passel of this cretins in the IRS. Or pray for those men who were left to die in Benghazi. That’s what prayer should be used for! Prayer should have value.
God helps those who help themselves. I guess if you peruse the Bible long enough, you can find a passage that says what you want to say, and I can probably find another that refutes yours. So be my guest, pray for the lives of those who would destroy you and your freedom if given the chance. As for me, I view the loss of any of those in our government who have as their goal, the destruction of the very institutions that they have taken an oath to uphold as good thing!
That "saying" is found nowhere in the Bible.
I was raised a Christian...
You obviously know little about the Bible's contents, if you wish to make those claims. The Scriptures are in complete harmony and are never self-contradicted within those pages. Do you consider yourself to be a "Christian"?
IMHO, if anyone were "raised a Christian" and made those kind of statements, they are either fooling themselves, or their folks lied to them!
Five and half years here. Full right side pneumonectomy. Ain’t life grand?
I think she’s going to “be retired” soon. The grim reaper shows no favorites.
