I believe that the electronic digital age has ushered in a global society, that gets it’s information in near real time.
The world has shrunk. If something big happens in the Indian Ocean, we know about it right away. Even in poor areas people can generally walk to a place that has television reception.
In a real sense, all people on planet earth are enlightened. I don’t mean they have equal access. Of course they don’t. Still, cultures, religions, ‘the truth’ is out there like never before.
End times are possible now, because God’s truth is available to anyone who wants to find it.
If say for instance religious persecution in the United States went full tilt, it wouldn’t just be the citizens of the United States pondering the evil of it. U. S. Citizens, the citizens of other nations would be able to assess what was taking place, and stand up for Christianity or deny it.
It has always been my opinion that certain criteria needed to be met before a true end of times situation could feasibly be realized.
IMO, we’re there.
Yes other generations have seen the decline too, but in the 1800s for instance, our planet wasn’t small enough to see information disseminated in a manner that could result in end times.
We’re there now.
As the United States declines the end draws near.
I say this, because the United States was the last chance for humanity. It covered the inalienable rights gifted to us by our Creator. This type of situation doesn’t have to take place again, for it to be crystal clear, that man is incapable of setting up a decent government and sustaining it forever.
All governments fail. Even ours will. When it does, I don’t think God has anything else to prove. And that’s why I think this is truly the last days on earth.
If the Christian God is real, and His patience has been tried and we are found wanting, then we are very close.
If it’s all a fable, of course we are not.
I tend to believe that the Bible laid down a very vivid prediction of what end times would look like. IMO, all criteria being met, we’re there.
Just my opinion folks, but it’s something to ponder.

When my large Texas city passed cross-dresser “anti-discrimination” (imposition) laws, I thought about using the women’s room at City Hall during City Council meetings, to make a point.
There is nothing to stop me. Who’s to say I don’t “feel like a woman” at that moment?

Beyond doubt there is a “button” built into God’s creation. What it is no one knows. Like you I think the health of America is a big big factor. But I think the Jews, the guardians of the link (Torah) between Heaven and earth figure in somewhere. The Torah establishes God’s presence on earth. When that is threatened I believe all hell will break loose.
we had one of those at a previous job. He would use the ladies room and pee like a guy, standing up and he would talk to himself in the stalls which took some getting used to for the new employees.
The funny thing was he actually hated women and would get very catty in meetings and always made fun of their shoes.
Straights should go to this restaurant and order dinner. When dinner arrives ask the waiter is this the restaurant that allows pervs to use opposite sex toilet rooms. Then get up and leave. No dinner eaten no pay.
There is no right or left, no up or down, everything is equal and no rules except you can’t complain or change the rules.
What’s left? Cannibalism, Bestiality....
Bestiality has to be within months of being legal. And when it is, they’ll have to indoctrinate our kids to it, so they won’t look down on people who do that kind of stuff.

The problem with humans who have crossed the moral line into perversion is that being visible is part of the turn on. They want spectators. If this continues without the necessary public outrage, we’ll soon reach a point where it is too dangerous or at the very least too disgusting to enter a public restroom that is more than a one seater with a lock on the door.
