A gay couple alleges an innocent peck nearly caused them to be ejected from their cab onto a rain-slicked Kennedy Expressway earlier this week.
Steven White and his boyfriend Matt McCrea were on their way from O’Hare Airport Thursday night, they tell CBS 2’s Brad Edwards.
During the ride, McCrea “leaned over to look at something on the phone and then he leaned in to kiss me,” White recalls.
McCrea says it was a closed-mouth kiss that lasted all of a second. It did not go over well with their cab driver, the two men say.
It was 11:30 p.m. The Park Ridge Police Department was called where the couple was dropped off at a grocery store on South Cumberland. The driver said the couple was “making sex,” but police found no proof of the claim.

Doesn’t socialist IL have a “hate crimes law”? If so, this cabbie could be easily convicted, and IL people would not favor the cabbie in this particular dispute.

If I had been their cab driver, I would have stopped for gas and made certain they were going to be late.
Since their heads were left attached to their bodies, I’m guessing my initial supposition that the cabbie was a moose limb is probably wrong.

Best comment online: “they called the police.......because they had hurt feelings.” Expect plenty more of that as homosexuality becomes the gold standard in human behavior.
The cabbie was probably trying to finish his sandwich.
I was going to make a crude joke about what may have happened to the evidence but, nope, not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent. Might make people sick.

I’m for that, maybe we can arrange free trips for homos to Muslim countries. Iran would be a good choice, they hang and display homos there from industrial cranes along the streets as a warning to others.
Driver was likely a Muslim.... Muslims doing something good for the USA? Say it ain’t so!

religion aside... his cab... His rules. I’d toss them out of my car in a heart beat too, paying customer or not.
