Boy Scouts and adult volunteers planning to wear their uniforms in Utah's upcoming LGBT pride parade aren't allowed to do so under the organization's guidelines prohibiting advocating political or social positions, a leader with the program said Friday.

Point 1: The LGBT crowd wants to be prominently, even flagrantly, featured in the Boy Scouts.
Point 2: Why would the Boy Scouts want to march in an LGBT parade?
Uh, probably just me but, why would you let your troop go to a gay pride parade anyway? To show that the BSA considers the “gay lifestyle” as acceptable? Maybe they should do a field trip to the Folsom Street Fair sometime. That should open some eyes.

So why in the world would the Boy Scouts (uniforms or no uniforms) want to be anywhere near Utah’s LGBT pride parade in the first place? I wouldn’t have my son within 10 miles of that.
It’s bad enough that the local HS LGBT “club” gets to march in the HS Homecoming Parade. Why do we condone letting people parade their perverted sexuality in public places at all?
Also, the irony is too rich here. The Boy Scouts aren’t allowed to march because they “advocate political or social positions.” Advocating beliefs in God, Family, and Country is a negative “political social position” now? As if ANYTHING related to queers is NOT “social or political”?

Willard, the father of gay marriage, wouldnt let the Boy Scouts wear their uniforms when they volunteered during “his” Winter Olympics in Utah in 2002 in case his little gays were “offended”...
You don’t. They have asked for an Honor Guard of Scouts. But it is clearly prohibited.
