Florida billboard attacks 'Rubio-Obama Amnesty'
Tampa Bay News ^ | May 30, 2013 | Alex Leary

(A billboard on I-75 in Ocala)

An anti-immigration reform group has put up a billboard on I-75 in Ocala attacking Sen. Marco Rubio for promoting "amnesty."

"When 20 million American citizens and legal workers are unemployed or desperately trying to find full time jobs it is both callous and irresponsible for Florida Senator Marco to sponsor an immigration bill that will flood the labor market with 33 million foreign workers over the next ten years," said Jack Oliver of Floridians for Immigration Enforcement.

Oliver is citing a study prepared for Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., who has been the leading opposition to the immigration reform bill in Washington. The study's conclusions are disputed.

Floridians for Immigration Enforcement has been on Rubio's case since his days as Florida House speaker, accusing him of holding up a series of bills that would have cracked down on illegal immigration.

The new effort shows that for all Rubio has done to assuage opposition to reform, it continues to persist. It also underscores the various positions he has taken on immigration, from a moderate voice in the Legislature to adopting a harder stance in his U.S. Senate run to the present.

"Marco Rubio's backing for this mass amnesty also is a complete betrayal of the solemn promise he made to me, other members of our board, and several Tea Party leaders that he would never support amnesty when he met with us privately face to face in 2009," said Oliver.

Rubio, like Christie, is bound and determined to implement Obama's evil agenda.

Immigration reform, in the case of millions of these cucarachas invading our land and taking up residence in our woodwork, means clearing out these criminals. Ship them back across the border.

For some to be discovered reason Rubio is working up a sweat in his traitorous attempt to lard up the DemocRAT voting rolls.

El Rubio is toast as far as I'm concerned and I'll do everything possible to defeat this phony. He thinks Obama needs him to carry water for him.

It is so sad to watch Chuckie make a fool out of Rubio. Fortunately he and the gang of Ocho will fail.

Rubio may or may not give a big rat's patootie for the Obamugabe agenda, if he even has one, but he definitely shares in the Governor Perry fault ~ he prefers foreign born Latinos to Americans.

I'm the other way around.

Did this guy want me to vote for him or something?

RE :”Florida billboard attacks ‘Rubio-Obama Amnesty’,”

The Rubio/McCain/Grahamnesty scam of getting Republicans on board this Schumer/Durbin amnesty depends on :

1) Obama laying low on this bill until the signing not seen by us as being part of it, at which point after the signing Hispanics give him the credit for it, but Rub must convince us that Obama will get none.
2) Rubio convincing us that Obama will not like the final bill, after all that LGBT amendment Obama wanted got killed, and that is a big deal, right ?(like 2% of illegals? ).
3) That Rubio is drawing a hard line in the sand, that this bill will end any illegals from coming here. That he is a ruthless hard nosed negotiator making Dems in the gang of eight sweat. .
4) That Rubio as well as McCain and Grahmnesty are really going after Obama on Benghazi, they are sooo tough on him they are one of us. But Notice that Dems go after Cruz but never are critical of Rubio.

This is their plan as I see it.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I hope he is just naive and wakes up before he destroy himself. All those ‘safeguards’, like having to go to the back of the line, securing the border, no Obamacare or welfare or food stamps, will go by the wayside as soon as that Bill becomes law. The judges will declare all those provisions unconstitutional. Meanwhile, Obama’s EO for the ‘Dreamers’, which said there would be scrutiny to determine if the ‘Dreamer’ applying to stay should be allowed to stay, hasn’t been enforcing that provision. I read a statistic that said that less than 1% of those applying are being deported. Obama’s Admin only enforces the laws they like. So I guess they wouldn’t enforce any of the ‘onerous, racist’ provisions in the Amnesty Law anyway, they simply wouldn’t even need a judge.

Rubio will probably never get that stink from stepping into the Gang of 8 off his shoes.

It is sad that Rubio exemplifies ‘young and dumb’. He was little more than a tool for the Gang of 8.

The ad Rubio, et al, have been running that claims their amnesty bill is conservative is packed with lies. It is just more stench representated by Rubio for the Gang of 8. The Gang played him for the fool.

I wonder if El Rushbo is still supporting Rubio, his friend, I haven’t heard Rush talk much about this bill lately, of course Rush now follows the heard by never discussing the birther issue in a meaningful way.

That billboard always has a good conservative message on it. I have photos somewhere of it with other messages. I’ll try to find them and post.

Its good to see some push-back to this. A pro-bill Rubio ad blitz has been running on conservative media, trying to make this sound "good for America"

Politicians being exposed, working against quality of life for the average citizen......to try and push this through now with high unemployment, debt...is about transforming US.

Rubio is only getting away with his lies because he is playing for Team Amnesty. If he tries this willfully dishonest crap against the Dems he will get ripped to shreds by the MSM/Dems. His buddies Reid & Schumer will be happy to lead the charge against him later.

Let me try to rephrase that in SOL terms.

Rubio is just another GOP tool of the Dems like McCain is. While Rubio beats on Obama on TV over Benghazi and IRS to try to convince us that he is OK, the Dems will say nothing about him in return(unlike weapon Cruz). Why??

This is because an bi-partision immigration reform bill is the big prize for Obama. Its a total win-win for Dems.

So like McCain when Rubio’s worth to Dems goes negative they will try to destroy him, just like they did to McCain 2008.

Is that what you were getting at?

I think that when the new guys get to Washington, the old pros like McCain take then under their wings and teach them the way things are done. First, don’t make waves. Second don’t question your elders. Third, watch and learn from the elders.

One of the hidden rules of Washington is knowing when to *reach across the aisle* to make a deal with the opposition. Rubio has learned that already. So hasn’t Paul Ryan.

Exactamundo, FRiend. I see a lot of similarities to Obama in Rubio. He arrogantly thinks he can hustle everybody. He brazenly lies so easily like obama. He has some characters on his staff that are nasty folks to do his dirty work. Another similarity to the kenyan.

Rubio is a dangerous trojan horse expert at playing conservative for TV. He needs to be defeated.

I really like this billboard, it is very powerful and simply stated. This type of ad appeals to people of all political parties. Everybody understands the jobs issue.

My idea of what a *dreamer* is—that Mexican woman who crossed the Rio Grande twenty years ago and has been on welfare in Florida ever sense. But we are the mean spirited ones. What do they call us? Nativists, xenophobes, anti-immigrant, anti-Hispanic, bigot etc.

Oh, yes, the Tsarnaevs were also *dreamers*.
