They have their own drones. We may risk no lives with drones, but in effect that is no different than fighting a suicide bomber whose goal is glorious death. I am reminded of Leonard Graves’ narration in the Victory at Sea episode about Okinawa. He described, “a fight between gunners who fight to live and pilots who fly to die.”

They take women and children, planes and buildings, and we take nations. Different cultures, different ways of doing things.
Waleed seems to be cut from the exact same cloth as Wrong Paul.
And the answer is: The Koran would be disproved.
Unlike the scriptures of other monotheistic religions, the God of Islam is a lover of a place and if the infidel can destroy Mecca then Allah lacks the power the Koran ascribes to him.
I expect this to eventually happen (perhaps at the hands of India) leading to the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem and the resumption of animal sacrifice.
What so many people forget is that we could have blatantly and unapologetically destroyed Afghanistan Pakistan Somalia, 20 times over with nukes. We have the means and capability. But we make the fight fairer. I know that if the shoe was on the other foot, the moozis would use them on us and hand out candy in the street.
