WASHINGTON, DC, May 29, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – This year’s graduating classes should be grateful for the “good news” that they will be eligible to receive free contraceptive and abortifacient drug coverage “without paying a penny” thanks to the HHS mandate, said Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
In a blog post on Wednesday addressed to the “Class of 2013,” Sebelius told newly minted graduates that the law is “giving you the flexibility to make choices about your future without worrying about where you’re going to get health insurance.”
“Bottom line: Because of the Affordable Care Act, you’ll be able to begin this next chapter of your life with the peace of mind and security health insurance provides,” she said.
The HHS mandate requires all employers, regardless of religious objections, to offer full coverage for contraception, sterilization, and abortifacient pills to their female employees with no co-pay.
That same mandate is causing upheaval and financial woes for the future employers of those graduates nation-wide.
It has been the subject of dozens of lawsuits that allege the mandate is a violation of constitutional religious liberties. Organizations who have filed suit against the mandate include institutions of higher learning such as Colorado Christian University, Belmont Abbey, University of Notre Dame, Franciscan Univeristy of Steubenville , Ave Maria University and a dozen others.
Companies and non-profits that violate of the mandate risk incurring devastating fines of up to $100 per employee per day.
Sebelius also promoted a provision of the health care bill allowing students to remain on their parents' insurance plans until the age of 26.

Great job liberals. Teach all those young women to despise their own fertility, to look at pregnancy as a disease, and even to hate babies. Teach them to hate babies so much that women would even kill their own children in order to have easier lives. Teach the young men there is no reason to get married and that the murder of their children is of no concern to them
