Leave Boy Scouts, pastor advises parents

MARIETTA, Ga. (BP) -- Parents of Boy Scouts should remove their children from the organization, Atlanta-area pastor Ernest Easley advised in his Sunday sermon.
Troop 204's affiliation with Roswell Street Baptist Church also will end, Easley said.
"I never dreamed I'd have to stand up publicly and say to parents: Pull your kids out of the Boy Scouts," Easley told Baptist Press May 28.
"If you would have asked me that five years ago, 10 years ago, I would have laughed," Easley said. "And even as I was saying it Sunday morning, I thought, I cannot believe I'm having to address this and encourage parents to pull their children out of the Boy Scouts of America.
"Unbelievable."
The tie between Roswell Street Baptist Church and Troop 204 dates back to 1945.

It sure is. Parents now have to worry about having their sons spend time in scout units with openly sodomite scouts, whether in someone's church, basement, or campground.
All the BSA had to say was NO. They'd get bad publicity and the usual howls and squeals, but they were already getting that anyway, so what the hell were they thinking?

And for churches who have been put in the role of bad guys. The local Seattle news has taken a main stream church to task for no longer sponsoring a scout troop over the gay issue. So now they are in the cross hairs

The alliance between the churches and the Scouts is ending. Anyway, the alliance between conservative churches and the Scouts. Liberal Churches, who teach that homosexual lust is moral, will continue to affiliate. And the Mormons, I guess. I see no necessary connection between their theology and the traditional Christian morality.
Gays are evil minded, they wish only to pervert, as they’ve become perverted. They parade their perversions as if to say, “we spit on your morally straight ways”. They demand to define the terms of normal, and castigate those outside the new normal. Truly, these are the end of days... repent and ask Jesus to save you before the final call, it is as the door.
So, why doesn’t the newspaper sponsor the troop?

It is a sad time for being American in the Obamination.
I was a BS back in the 50s, and it was as true American as one could be.
I fondly remember when the girl scouts in my neighborhood were selling cookies....we were the heroes by carrying the large cartons during delivery time.
Does anything like this exist today? Do they even have Girl Scouts?
In the upper Midwest, I think it’s still safe to have my boys in scouting... for now. I’m done giving money to the BSA, but I will still volunteer as a scout leader and contribute to our local council. But when the BSA caves in with regard to gay leadership, and they will someday, my kids will be out and I’ll be done with the BSA. And the BSA will be finished as an organization anyway.

We have a scout leading the pledge of allegiance at our town meetings. I do not wish them to continue. They must take the consequence of their actions.
The boy scouts are accepting sodomy. The girl scouts accept abortion and lesbianism. The old line Episcopal church endorses reprobate clergy. Hotels openly promote “gay friendly” policies. Oh how long before we experience the judgement of God upon our once blessed land?

Yes and even they have been compromised by the LGBT community and taught to use birth control at a young age.
The judgement is happening now.
I believe the 60% that voted to go Homo were closet Homo’s.
