N.Y. 3 Feet of Snow: Reversed Global Warming Causes Unusual Amount of Snowfall on Memorial Day Weekend In New York [PHOTOS]

3 feet of snow had just fallen in New York over Memorial Day weekend, and the unusual amount of snowfall sparked speculations that say the extreme weather was caused by reversed global warming.

**SNIP**

Although during May of last year, the temperature had been going up due to global warming, this year's Memorial Day weekend experienced what some have called "reversed global warming," as the temperature is dropping much more than usual.

Residents of New York were surprised to have to pull out their winter coats rather than enjoy Memorial Day barbeque on a warm, sunny day.

Pretty scientific stuff right there - 'what some have called'.

On the bright side - if it really is 'reversed' global warming, that must mean the original global warming is dead. All credit should go to Hussein.

Dammit. We over-corrected!

We need to start pumping more CO2 into the atmosphere!

That’s the beauty of AGWT, it explains everything, all observations confirm it at the 100% confidence level. AGWT is unfalsifiable and irrefutable.

All weather is local. While it snowed in New York, it was warm here in Northern California. Last year on Memorial Day Weekend, however, we got snow.

I can personally attest to your statement. There are people that will believe AGW to the end of time. No matter what happens, it’s AGW. Too many storms, AGW. Too few storms, it’s AWG again. Temps to hot or too cold, that darn AGW. It’s almost like playing a game invented by a 5 year old. Every time you start winning the rules change. There could be glaciers in Miami and I know a guy that would still believe it was a result of AGW.

Big deal - so a bunch of people have claimed it’s snowing in New York in late May.

I’m waiting until there’s a scientific consensus on whether that happened or not - that’s what were supposed to do, right?

The earth’s glacial periods are always preceded by huge swings in temperature extremes.

So...how wS the climate 60 years ago before all this global warming? Completely predictable weather? Never snow in May, never a warm day in December, tornadoes and hurricanes were extremely uncommon and reached top wind speeds of 60 MPH?

Here is is, Memorial Day, May 27, and I awoke this morning to 37 degrees and could see my breath in the frosty air when walking my dog. And this has been the best day of the weekend! It “might” hit 70 degrees later today. Right now, I’m sitting at my picnic table still shivering, waiting for some “global warming” to come my way before I shove back off to work in the morning.

“Dammit. We over-corrected!
We need to start pumping more CO2 into the atmosphere! “

That should have been the first question asked of Al Gore 10 years ago.

I think it is now safe that we can come to following conclusion. In 1975 the scientists were correct. Too much carbon would cause global cooling. To remedy that, we got rid of carbon which raised temps.

Some jackwad of a Iib (Gore) didn't look at empirical data and realized the earth was getting warmer. So in his flash of brilliance he came up with this global warming meme. Everyone bought into this and began the process of making the world a greener place to live.

Problem was, the more green we became, the more screwed up the weather became. To fix that we had to become even greener...and on and on.

In the end our earth is going to perish not because of too much carbon, but lack of.

Anther unintended consequence brought to us by our friends on the left.

I skied Whiteface back in college a few times.

I've also watched ski jumpers on July 4th one year. They crushed stored lake ice, mix with hay, and lay a path down a hill.

It may have been opposite the shaky remains of the wooden ski jump from the 1932 Olympics (which was torn down for the 1980 games).

Psalm 7:

14 See how wicked people think up evil;
they plan trouble and practice deception.
15 But in the traps they set for others,
they themselves get caught.
16 So they are punished by their own evil
and are hurt by their own violence.
17 I thank the Lord for his justice;
I sing praises to the Lord, the Most High.

This is a joke, if you read the article it says Long Island got 2.5 feet of snow and NY city almost a foot. This did not happen.

People have to believe in something. When they abandon the God of Israel and Rome, they do not believe in nothing, they believe anything.

To abandon AGWT would require them to question their judgment and intelligence. People will fight more violently to maintain their self image than to survive. Their self image is fraught with the notion of moral and intellectual superiority and anything that threatens that element of their self image must be violently resisted.

There WAS two feet of snow on Whiteface Mountain in the Adironacks...photos are posted at AccuWeather's site.

Snow in NYC and LI is bullsh*t, however.
