Though the White House has insisted the IRS stopped formally targeting Tea Party and conservative organizations in May of 2012, two attorneys representing conservative organizations have claimed the IRS's targeting may still be ongoing.
Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) and Cleta Mitchell, the attorney representing True the Vote, have evidence their clients are still being targeted.
According to National Review, Sekulow "plans to file suit in federal court in the coming weeks on behalf of more than two dozen conservative groups that claim their harassment at the hands of the nation’s tax authority continued long past the White House’s purported end date."
At least ten organizations the ACLJ is representing still have not received their determination letters. National Review notes the Albuquerque Tea Party applied for 501(c)(4) status in December of 2009 while Linchpins of Liberty applied in January 2011. Both organizations still have not received their letters.
Sekulow told the publication that "to suggest this tactic ended a year ago is not only offensive, but it is simply inaccurate as well.” He said the White House's timeline of events "simply does not square with the facts."
True the Vote, the nonprofit that trains workers to find and report voting fraud, is waiting for approval as a tax-exempt organization three years after initially filing its application with the IRS....

It’s till going at the EPA when organizations are vetted in FOIA requests according to whether or not the organizations are “helpful” in disseminating the EPA message.

And with communism what do you get? Tyranny. So why would he stop? If the press in Cuba reports that Castro is targeting the press or political groups does he stop? John Boehner has the power to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND REFUSES TO DO SO.
Exactly. This stuff is going on NOW. Boehner needs to be engaging the kenyan DIRECTLY. Tell the WH, you either 1) fix this NOW or 2) prepare for a govt shut down because we won’t be funding a fascist government.
Boehner and the beltway GOP are complicit in these assaults with this limp wristed tip toeing response.

Clear and straight to the point. Get on the phone and call Boehner at his Washington number, his office number in Ohio, and DELIVER THE MESSAGE. We must apply pressure and not let up until Boehner dose his job. Tea Party organizations, now is the time to band together and get out there with signs and loud voices and DELIVER THE MESSAGE TO BOEHNER. WE HAVE THE NUMBERS AND WE NEED TO BE THE TOWN CRIERS AND SPREAD THE WORD. It will be up to We the People to set a fire under Boehner, shame him (his father served in the US Army in WWII)by reminding him his father did his duty when our country was in peril..NOW IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO DO THE SAME..STEP UP AND DO YOURJOB AND MAKE YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER PROUD, YOUR WIFE,CHILDREN AND SIBLINGS PROUD, WE THE PEOPLE PROUD BY BEING THE PATRIOT AND DOING THE JOB YOU WERE ELECTED TO DO. PUT ASIDE YOUR POLITICS AND DO YOUR JOB TO SAVE THIS COUNTRY.
I'm calling Boehner and my local Tea Party Patriot group tomorrow and I hope others will do the same. Either get off your chair, put down your electronics and non-essentials and get involved, or kiss this country good-bye.

In my opinion, it is not government policing itself that has exposed the corruption -it is the few leaks and the few leakers that have stepped off of the government plantation to get the word out. The best thing conservative leaders can do is establish an independent (independent from the government bureaucrats) whistle-blower clearing house that protects anonymity and enables information flow so that the necessary information gets to those that wish to stop the corruption.
We need the headlines going into the elections so the more the merrier.
No one is going to be fired. Or maybe, just maybe, someone’s getting promoted to the Inner Party from the bureaucrat ranks of the Outer Party. (Lerner was just the beginning.)
