With Linda, Chuck U, Turbin and DWS, my day is complete. Still, a tinge of sadness lingers with no DNC Dave or McShame, but I'll find the strength to carry-on, somehow.

It looks like it’s Amnesty Day” on the networks. The scandals are now to be sent to the dustbins of history.

[England] I’ll gag the hate clerics: Cameron to launch new terror task force to stamp out religious extremism

Shoulda, woulda, coulda

That may be the heritage Euro and, not far behind, the US and Canada leave in a couple of decades.

Perhaps some good news: Sen. Menendez says the Gang of 8 doesn't have 60 votes to pass the Rubio-Schumer-McCain-Graham amnesty.

Perhaps some not so good news: Speaker Boehner says the House it working on an amnesty plan.

What’s really most appalling about the way these scandals are being presented is the default position of the reporting media and most pundits too—that Obama isn’t really to be linked to any of them.

In the case of the IRS scandal, it’s particularly preposterous in that his entire political existence has been framed around using courts and agencies to attack enemies and thus advance his political fortunes.

He is a man who is void of any real ideas or insights, just a political hack in the tradition of Lenin, all tactics and no thought. And like Lenin, he seized power and immediately launched a civil war, which he has been conducting since 2008 from the White House and using every arm of government to fight.

By and large the Marxist agenda Obama advances while destroying opposition comes from Ayers, Dohrn, Soros, Axelrod and others, not really from him. In any case, WSJ had a story regarding the IRS matter and how that same tactic has been in play since 2008 in his campaign/adminsitration. It was probably posted here at FR as a thread earlier, but this is it in any case.

Distraction? Why is TW back on the drone question and Paul’s filibuster?

It seems the Media had enough of the scandals and are trying move on to other fluff.

Bray....Once again your post has inspired me to move out of the depression and sense of helplessness as I witnessed what has been the march forward of tyranny! Thanks for putting into words so eloquently what so many of us are aghast at.

I am forwarding this across the country in my emails.
Romney was so right about the 47%. Lethargy on our part is not an option now.

During the Nixon/Watergate matter the press clearly understood that they owed Nixon no grant of innocence until proven guilty, and incorporated the presumption of guilt in all its reporting.

No one said, “Well, you can’t prove Nixon was involved in any of this” on Sunday shows back then.

What’s going on now with Obama’s scandals is appalling. He is being treated by the press as if their outputs (articles, reports, op-eds) are courtrooms of some sort, with the disclaimer that “you can’t prove it” being presented as if that is part of the story.

This is nonsense and NOT the province of the press in any case. Simple facts need to be presented without such bizarre consessions to jurisprudence. A “stand down” order was given in the Benghazi matter. Who is empowered to give “stand down” orders? Right there is the reporter’s job. Was it given and by who? And if no one will tell the truth, who was empowered to give such an order?

When the government stonewalls, the press speculates—with good cause. Do your job. Stop pretending to be a court of law. Hit the bricks and get the story. Are you so STUPID, Mr. Media, to imagine the IRS could take such action as they did without approval from higher up? Could Holder sign off on an investigation complete with wiretaps of Fox News without Obama approval?

A free and independent press in America? It’s way past midnight now. In fact, this is last call.

Great time in our history to have someone the likes of Winston Churchill or Lady Thatcher along with President Ronald Reagan to arrive on scene and rid us all of the snakes that are destroying our lives and the lives of our children and grand children.
Memorial Day,for me, is a day to remember my fellow men and women who gave up their lives so we can continue an ongoing battle here at home to save our homeland despite of the corruption we allowed to grow like a cancer.
Bless everyone and keep your powder dry

“If only the Fuhrer knew!”

Those IRS hacks in the Cincy office do evoke reference to death camp guards who were “just doing their jobs and following orders” If the shoe fits, wear it.

Dole on Obama:

Likes golf. Articulate, but lacks communication skills.

[Apparently, Dole hasn’t heard Obama trying to talk off-teleprompter.]

Dole sees his era as the good old days and sees Washington of today as a mess.

Nixon only ranted to Dean that he should “audit those sumbiches” and the IRS NEVER audited anyone... but Nixon himself was audited. obama ordered millions of Americans to be put under scrutiny. What obama did was thousands of times worse than Nixon and Nixon was no Boy Scout.

“Dole sees his era as the good old days and sees Washington of today as a mess.”

His good ol days of being a RINO is what got us to where
we are today. They chose him to run against the Toon because
they knew he would loose. At least they could have put
someone in their with a pulse but Dole was the next
“entitled” presidential candidate and definitely not the
best man for the job. They did the same with McCain and
Romney.
