Live firearm?
Is driving around with pistols laying on their laps ever done, anywhere, at anytime? I’ve never done it.
Britain is so weird about guns.
Nor me.
Probably.
I don’t know about England, sir. But here in the Colonies we have invented a device for carrying a firearm on ones person. It’s called a “holster” and they’re terribly clever. It attaches to your belt and you put your sidearm inside of it.
They’ve been perfected so that one can drive a vehicle while wearing it. They are quite popular over here with police officer types whom I believe you refer to as “Bobbies”. Perhaps if you sent a letter to Scotland Yard and inform them of this device they might find them useful somehow.
Believe it or not private citizens use them by the millions here across the Pond. They’re quite handy when one requires quick access to a firearm in a dangerous situation. Say like rolling up on a crazed, blood covered jihadi who has just murdered someone.
Feel free to pass this information along. Perhaps you’ll get an award or something.
Another thread mentions that some FBI did it in 1986, which surprised me, the civilians of law enforcement can be pretty stupid evidently.
LOL
Thanks, I need a laugh today.
You’re quit welcome, sir. I tried very hard to mimick the wonderful British sense of sarcasm. I bid you a pleasant day.
That would be the Platt-Maddix incident.
You too.
