Special Report

Obama and the IRS: The Smoking Gun?

By Jeffrey Lord on 5.20.13 @ 6:11AM

President met with anti-Tea Party IRS union chief the day before agency targeted Tea Party.

“For me, it’s about collaboration.” — National Treasury Employees Union President Colleen Kelley on the relationship between the anti-Tea Party IRS union and the Obama White House

Is President Obama directly implicated in the IRS scandal?

Is the White House Visitors Log the trail to the smoking gun?

The stunning questions are raised by the following set of new facts.

March 31, 2010.

According to the White House Visitors Log, provided here in searchable form by U.S. News and World Report, the president of the anti-Tea Party National Treasury Employees Union, Colleen Kelley, visited the White House at 12:30pm that Wednesday noon time of March 31st.

The White House lists the IRS union leader’s visit this way:

Exactly.

A fact which will never be admitted.

Lois Lerner was at the heart of the corruption of TWO presidential elections. She was in charge of enforcement of election laws, especially campaign finance, in the first Obama election. In that one, he took in millions of $ from illegal overseas contributions. Lerner just looked the other way. In the second, most recent election, she made sure the opposition could not function for lack of funds and support by harrasing them with the apparatus of the IRS. Congress needs to dig a lot deeper into her activities than just who told who at the IRS.

It is becoming more apparent as the dust settles and the dots are connected that the previous statement is true. This means Lerner has committed TREASON and she and all of her accomplices should be brought to justice. Perhaps the best way to prevent whats coming down the road.

I think we need to watch for people on our ‘side’ to have had a hand in this as well.

Why the IRS went after the Tea Party instead of establishment republicans (Breitbart).

Yeah, the founders were no dummies...

However, we need to attack and kill political correctness and the accompanying race card,

because those have made it impossible to implement this check on corruption.

By the time of the Watergate break-in (June 17, 1972), Nixon's re-election was a sure thing...the only thing to be gained by the dirty tricks was to turn a solid win into a landslide. If Muskie had been the Democratic nominee, it would have been a closer race (although my guess is that Nixon still would have won easily), but McGovern had knocked out Muskie well before the break-in.

In 2012, in contrast, the race was close until the end, and Obama won largely because of better turn-out-the-vote efforts (along with some voter fraud). Disabling the Tea Party may have made the difference in the outcome.

Coburn: Constituents link IRS audits to Mitt Romney donations [our whistleblower side is lit up]

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3023043/posts

Coburn made the charge during an interview on MSNBC. [Watch video]

“What I would tell you, is our whistleblower side is lit up,” Coburn said Thursday on the news channel. “And I got a phone call yesterday and one of the things I want to know is, everybody that contributed to Romney, I want to know what their audit rate was because the indications out of Oklahoma are right now is if you happened to be a conservative and wealthy and gave to Romney, you had an audit where you’d never gotten an audit before.

I could not believe he “won” the 2012 election.

I could, for a very simple reason: Mitt Romney.

Well, he did, but unfairly, and only because he had his minions clamp down on activists who turned the 2010 election against him.

While I'm sure that there was /is corruption, I have to wonder if it's so widespread as to be the cause of Obama's reelection. The GOP-elite selected and pushed Romney, someone who politically is pretty much Obama's clone... furthermore, they pushed him with dirty, dirty tricks/tactics: the retroactive rules changing in the primaries (robbing Ron Paul of delegates), the announcing/reading of the RNC votes before the voting was finished, the bus incident at the RNC, and more. Honestly step back and ask this: why should I vote for democrat-lite when I can get the real thing? (i.e. the "vote for the lesser of two evils" is simply an excuse to vote for evil.)

I have no confidence in anything done by federal officials anymore, and unfortunately, you are right about the free stuff— the welfare queens — and believe me, they are not all African-American — are so glued to the Jody Arias trial they have not a clue about what else is going on.

Neither do I, but the reason isn't "the deomcrats cheat" -- the reason is that governments are not interested in fair-play, at any level, and will exceed any and all constraints that they can get away with violating. (I've written about gun-laws on the State-level where the Constitutions explicitly forbid laws... and how these 'laws' are more or less unassailable even though they be illegitimate.)

Exactly why government needs to be small, local, and limited. The federal leviathan is too well-funded and is turning on the ones who fund it. I wasn’t much of a Mitt fan either but that election was very peculiar. Really don’t want to revisit why. Don’t think Mitt wanted to inherit this economy.
