The majority of UK police are not armed, any incident is dealt with by armed mobile units. The UK gun crime and gun murder numbers are still very low, so there is little public clamour for full police arming.

Yes, I know you can own a shotgun of the approved type and that you must keep it in a locked gun safe (how is that going to do you any good in an emergency?) They place so many restrictions of gun ownership, that it is nearly impossible to jump through all the legal hoops. The result is effectively a total gun ban.
Hang them at high noon tomorrow. What’s the point of a trial. There were hundreds of witnesses. London doesn’t have the guts to do this but it should be done to make a point to muslims. Kick them all out of the country, ours too.

In england today if you have tried to stop these guys in any way you would be prosecuted. There are no self defense laws in england any more.
