A man reported to be a serving soldier is dead and two people have been shot in Woolwich, south east London, after what Sky sources understand is being treated as a terrorist attack. Downing Street has called a meeting of the Government's Cobra emergency committee after the incident in John Wilson Street, which David Cameron described as "truly shocking". Sky sources understand that senior police officers believe the killing was likely to be a politically-motivated Islamist terrorist attack. Dozens of weapons - including a number of knives - and pools of blood could be seen on the ground, where a man wearing a Help for Heroes T-shirt is said to have been attacked by two men.

Didn’t Downing Street get the memo??? The standard line five minutes after the attack is that “Now, there’s no reason to think this is a terrorist attack”.

He was holding a meat cleaver, not a machete.

I am very suspicious of the 85 court claim, given that the Sharia courts, which I never supported btw, started in just five cities. If there are 85, most are illegal and should be shut down and people jailed.

Just pointing out that both our countries are going in the wrong direction. The USA and Britain I knew years ago would never have tolerated, much less sought out, such a group of immigrants. Today, they are not being shut down and are not going to jail.

Nations just don’t get it, cultures are different for a reason...and each needs to remain in their own...regardless of their struggles and what they do to each other. Some will never know anything but war...it’s in their nature to be so.
