Catherine Engelbrecht’s tale has all the markings of a classic conspiracy theory: She says she thinks that because of her peaceful political activity, she and her family was targeted for scrutiny by hostile federal agencies.

Yet as news emerges that the Internal Revenue Service wielded its power to obstruct conservative groups, Catherine’s story becomes credible — and chilling. It also raises questions about whether other federal agencies have used their executive powers to target those deemed political enemies.

Before the Engelbrecht family’s three-year ordeal began, Catherine says, “I had no real expectation or preparation for the blood sport that American politics is.” Sounding weary on the phone, she continues: “It’s all been a through-the-looking-glass experience.”

Because the agencies are so large and powerful this cannot be fixed. The larger and more powerful an agency is the more corrupt it is. The icing on the cake is that the agencies are almost entirely staffed by Democrats. Even in a Republican administration the agencies and deaartments are working to undermine the Republicans, and Republicans being oblivious, take no steps to clean them out. Democrats always fire all the oustable Republican appointees and demote or isolate the ones they cannot fire. Democrats appoint only partisans while Republicans "reach across the aisle." We are Venezuela and may even have to speak Spanish in another generation.

This is coordinated.

This isn’t casual harassment from a few public service morons who voted for Obama. This is a coordinated effort to stop Republicans or anyone opposed to the Regime in power from voicing their opinion.

Elijah Cummings is criminally involved and may be the coordinator of this effort.

What we are seeing is an “autogolpe,” which means “self-coup.” A dictator is elected, whether illegitimately or simply through the foolishness of a public believing his populist rhetoric, and then carries out a quiet internal coup, taking over all public agencies and authorities, filling all positions with party activists of his own choosing, and seizing the financial system. Which of these has Obama not done?

Someone with initiative could start a TV series documenting all the gov’t atrocities and tyranny, it would be a major number one show, lasting many years.

Why don't the Republicans hold hearing and bring these and the other people harassed by the government to testify. Then put the government employees responsible for these actions under oath and require them to testify. Then prosecute every one of them and if possible send them to prison.
