I honestly believe the WH thought the media would praise them for makong a bold move to crack down on those evil conservatives.
I think you’re right but I think that most liberals don’t care because of that. They like the cheating and lying and stealing. They are people sans real morality.
The thing the media didn’t like is the AP scandal so couple that with the IRS thing and now they pay attention. I think the IRS scandal alone wouldn’t have mattered much to them.
