Dem 2016 poll: Hillary Clinton still on top

The renewed interest in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack at the U.S. post in Benghazi, Libya, has not shaken Hillary Clinton’s position among potential 2016 contenders, according to a new poll.

The former secretary of state — under fire by conservatives who say she played politics with the attack in which Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others were killed — still leads the potential 2016 Democratic field with 63 percent of the vote in her party, according to a Public Policy Polling poll released Wednesday.

Vice President Joe Biden comes in at second with 13 percent. No other candidate polled higher than 4 percent. The poll was conducted between May 6 and May 9, 2013 — just as the hearings on the Hill were heating up.

“Benghazi isn’t having much impact on Hillary Clinton’s viability in a potential 2016 campaign,” said PPP President Dean Debnam in a statement. “She continues to lead the Democratic field and the top Republican candidate possibilities.”

Last month, PPP had Clinton leading with 64 percent.

Among GOP-ers, its

Neither do they give a rat’s a** about anything else. As long as that person has a D next to their name, that’s who they’ll vote for - government freebies, ya know.

I wish there was a way to revoke people’s voting rights who are low-information voters. Ok, I guess that is being controlling, but its sickening what these sheeple have voted for and don’t have a clue how the Ds are destroying this county. Hillary Clinton for President? Good God, save us - she’s every bit as bad as zero is. She sure can lie just as well as he does.

Not to distract from your point, but in 6.A, you do a great disservice to Augusto Pinochet to put him in such company. Perhaps you meant Salvador Allende?

“Typical. She could commit murder and still poll high. Why are people so numb to incompetence?”..

If she could be tied tightly to the Bengahzi issue, perhaps we would not have to worry about her come election time. I believe she was heavily involved in the “Stand Down” order.

We should get Scott Brown to run for the (D) nomination.

This is why Democrats are circling the wagons around Hillary. They would be stuck with Biden. Then there’s no one else.

Eight years ago Hillary Clinton was polling even better than she was now. Her chance was then. A younger, more charismatic, more electable candidate emerged. History will undoubtly repeat itself, but we can always hope that this time her followers will be so bent out of shape that they create a lot of bad will in the general election.

Last time the Clintons went into hiding for three months while they contemplated the prospect of one last chance in 2016. This time there will be backup plan.

Hillary takes out SlowJoe and Coumo by end of March 2016.
Picks Deval Patrick as VP.

Does she win in Nov? Too many unknowns right now.
