IRS sued for stealing the medical records of 10 million Americans

The last scandal dampening rods just failed, and the reactor core at the Internal Revenue service may be about to blow. From Healthcare IT News:

The Internal Revenue Service is now facing a class action lawsuit over allegations that it improperly accessed and stole the health records of some 10 million Americans, including medical records of all California state judges.

According to a report by Courthousenews.com, an unnamed HIPAA-covered entity in California is suing the IRS, alleging that some 60 million medical records from 10 million patients were stolen by 15 IRS agents. The personal health information seized on March 11, 2011, included psychological counseling, gynecological counseling, sexual/drug treatment and other medical treatment data.

“This is an action involving the corruption and abuse of power by several Internal Revenue Service agents,” the complaint reads. “No search warrant authorized the seizure of these records; no subpoena authorized the seizure of these records; none of the 10,000,000 Americans were under any kind of known criminal or civil investigation and their medical records had no relevance whatsoever to the IRS search.

“IT personnel at the scene, a HIPPA facility warning on the building and the IT portion of the searched premises, and the company executives each warned the IRS agents of these privileged records,” it continued.

Makes you wonder just how many of those 1.6 billion rounds of ammo that the feds ordered went to the IRS. In a fascist state, it would make sense to arm the taxman and the treasury, because you couldn’t trust anyone else to collect the money, and you would want to keep everyone else away from it. Throw in some protection for your business cronies, and you have a real shot at bringing a country to its knees for fun and profit. Ideology is a smokescreen, if you really want to know who’s trying to take over, follow the money.

I’m confused. Isn’t the IRS going to have to have everyone’s medical records in order to implement 0bama Care? They are going to require everyone to submit a Health Care ID # with their tax returns next year.

Check out post #3. IMO, this is the major objective of DeathCare—which is Holocaust II. Never Again?

Appears this report will be very limited to only smaller media outlets. From your stated experience, how do we get this “out there” to the larger outlets for greater news exposure? This story needs to go national...with what’s going on right now Carney & all else would do EVERYTHING possible to cover up this report.

In view of these Gestapo-like tactics of the IRS, would anyone be surprised if Obamacare denied medical services for “undesirables” such as Conservatives or Christians? Why not? What would stop them if the IRS can get away with it?

My money is the IRS was working in collusion with the California DOJ as only 10 million records were accessed and California has around 38 million in population per 2012 census estimates.

The CDOJ supplies the records/names of registered handgun and AW owners to the IRS who with their larger processing resources sweep up all medical records of said owners. The IRS in turn filters for potential ownership disqualifiers of the weapons owners. Things like treatment for drug or alcohol abuse or treatment for psychological issues.

The IRS in turn then supplies a distilled list to the CDOJ for them to do what ever they please with the info. The IRS then retains the records it acquired for future use what ever that may be.

This scenario would not be to different from the Missouri Highway Patrol supplying a list of all CCW holders to the SSA to run against benefit applicants who applied for benefits due to mental disability. That would have been a win-win for both entities as a CCW is mutually exclusive of a mental disability classification. You get benefits no CCW. You have CCW no benefits

Would the security guards at this facility been justified in using armed force to protect the records from rogue IRS criminals?

If not, then who can stop these criminals?

In the future they won’t need to steal anything. Obamacare gives them access and all they’ll have to do is log on to their computer. Direct real time access to every medical record in the country.
